Dragon Ball Kai Season 4 (Parts 7 & 8)

Sooooo...... Season 3 came out yesterday, which included Parts 5 & 6, but still no word on when Season 4 will be released. I wonder when they will officially announce it? I'm assuming this will be the last official Kai release from Funimation because what more could they possibly do with the series? Anyways, when it does come out, which cover do you think Funimation will use for it: the one from Part 7 (Goku & Perfect Cell) or Part 8 (Gohan & Goku)?

I'd guess the part 8 cover, because it shows that it's the end of the series, and it's overall a nicer image than 7.

Probably be Part Eight's cover with a minor difference, a Dragon and grey background like the other Seasons Sets are.

So it will have a slightly better looking cover than Part Eight did.

With Dragon Ball, I've learned to never start buying until the release is finished.

Funrush @ You can't really compare the DBZ BD's and UUE to Kai, because Z was a HD remasterization done by FUNimation and Kai was pretty much all done, no real reason to cancel Kai unless its sales were sucking too.

IIRC the UUE's were doing great. They got cancelled out of the blue.

They could...

Release a complete series box set.

Release a widescreen version.

Release a version with Japanese title cards and credits.

I'm not saying any of those will happen. But a complete box set might. They already have one in Australia.

Your comparisons of DBZ BD/DVD (UUE) just don't make sense because as I've said they were FUNimation's making and Kai was remastered already in Japan by Toei Animation.

All that FUNimation had to do was add English translation, Eng subs, Eng dub, publish on Blu-ray / DVD and etc.

Well, it's not in FUNimation's December 2012 Solicitations, so hopefully we'll get in January.

I might finally get around to getting Kai on Blu-Ray. Once the final season is released I MIGHT pick the 4 season sets up on amazon. Should be around $100.(If anyone asks, I'll tell them to get me amazon gift cards for x-mas. I still have a $50 card I was saving for the next Dragon Box release.)
