For the NES. I've heard about a few of those games, the pirates sometimes do amazing things. I once saw screenshots of a Super Butoden 2 port for the NES and they looked good.

I've also heard of a few original Dragon Ball Z fighting games made by pirates for the NES (of for Famiclones). Dragon Ball Fighter Z may be one of them.

I have a huge amount of respect for people like those, making a game with their own hands, when they are disatisfied with the official ones (as long as they do it for pleasure and not for profit). Like some guys who make Turrican games after Factor 5 gave up on them. And the Turrican games the "pirates" make are better than the original ones in many aspects.

But it's good to know that people still occupy themselves with their NES.... :D
