The Capsule Cheat from B2 doesn't work with B3.

<Kaboom> I'm just glad that he now sounds more like Invader Zim than Rita Repulsa
<Xyex> Original Freeza never sounded like a chick to me.
<Kaboom> Neither does Rita
<Xyex> Good point.

LIKES:
1) Very good graphics, with fluid animation
2) The best character roster in the DBZ fighting game history (I do not consider Tenkaichi a full-blooded fighting game)
3) Excellent music and sound
4) Spectacular battles, amazing special effects in blast attacks
5) Dragon Rush is spectacular.
6) First DBZ fighting game to have Freeza and Cell in all their forms.
DISLIKES:
1) Character roster is very good but is not perfect (needed the whole Ginew Force, Zarbon, Dodoria, and #19 to have all major players of the DBZ ANIME episodes)
2) Dragon Rush can get tedious and repetive after a few times.
3) Sabaimen and Cell Juniors are ridiculously hard in Dragon Arena in the highest levels.
4) Dragon Universe is a bit confusing since it focuses in specific historic battles of each character seperately (one minute Yamcha is fighting a Saibaiman, then suddenly it's Dr Gero). The game needed a Battle Gate mode similar to that of Tenkaichi (all battles in the correct order, changing characters depending on the battle)
5) Although some effort has been put in making the combo of each character unique, most characters are handled in the same way.
6) There is no "SF2-character-uniqueness". Freeza is just as fast as Cell, who is just as fast as Goku, who is just as fast as (etc.etc.etc.). Basically there is no "weak but fast character;" "slow but strong character;" "full of tecniques but poor on stamina character;" etc.
I understand that Dislike Number 6 cannot be truly be put as a dislike. All DBZ characters were either better or worse that their opponent in all aspects (either Goku was "better" than Cell, or not). The only exception was Piccolo versus #17, in which it was stated that Piccolo was equal in speed, but had less stamina.
However, since this is a game, they could put aside that fact, and make every character unique in his own way.
Oh, and as for the B3-Sparking! graphics grudge match, I have to say that some characters look better in one game, and worse in the other.
Kuririn looks better in Tenkaichi.
1st stage Freeza looks A LOT BETTER in Budokai 3.
Cell looks better in Budokai 3.
Fat Boo looks better in Tenkaichi.
And so on.

"Destiny"... people claim by force what they desire, wreak havoc upon others in order to acquire it... and they call it "destiny".

No, not yet. I've not got the cash nor have I been willing to part with any of my games. Now that the fixed version is out there though, I really want a copy.Conan the SSJ wrote:Xyex, any luck nabbing the GH release?
No way around that if you use an RPG level system. Yamcha fights a Saibamen and then he fights Gero. If it was done in a straight through story-mode Yamcha would be seriously outmatched (in-game stats wise) come Gero. Doing it by character, while breaking the 'flow' somewhat (seriously people, pay attention to the narrator, he covers everything between sagas so you CAN'T get lost), is the only way TO do it.4) Dragon Universe is a bit confusing since it focuses in specific historic battles of each character seperately (one minute Yamcha is fighting a Saibaiman, then suddenly it's Dr Gero). Broly is a bit slower and stronger than average. Hercule is a bit weaker than average. Etc. It's not as pronounced as it is in BT but it is present. Has been since B1. Obviously not counting Broly but 16 was noticably slower than average, even in B1.6) There is no "SF2-character-uniqueness". I don't need a narrator to understand where the storyline lies in DU mode, as is everyone who has seen the series. I'm just saying that being in the Saiyan saga one minute and the Cyborg saga the next is a bit weird when you want to live the whole DBZ storyline in a complete and historically precise way. And while I understand your points concerning Yamcha, I still think they could use some sort of RPG mode where you had control of all the Z Fighters in a single campaign (choosing whom to use in each battle).seriously people, pay attention to the narrator, he covers everything between sagas so you CAN'T get lost
