Tao tongue-attacking the slime. XD
Also that adult Goku at the end is fantastic. X3 (He makes me want more DB manga, even though there isn't any more.)
And all of this happened just the other day according to the date on the artwork; so cool.
On hiatus.

One of their tweets says that Toriyama said he drew Tao Pai Pai for the first time since the manga series, but he DID draw Tao for the Kanzenban release...

Wow! those are awesome

I wish I could draw that good

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

He's still got it!
Is he doing animation for the new DBZ movie, or just supervising?

This is amazing! Thank you for sharing them!
What I wouldn't give to have a drawing from Toriyama. I know that some comic/manga artists draw fan requests at conventions but I doubt Toriyama has been attending such events lately, so this is really rare.

"U...Ue-chan...!"
Thanks a lot!
The only thing I know about this band is that they made thatasong about Freeza ( ? ) but is there anything else that connects them to DB? Is Toriyama a fan? Will they be doing the theme song for the upcoming movie

Wow, that's really cool! I especially love the picture of Tao Pai Pai tongue-attacking the Slime, and adult Gokuu doing that pose at the end. Nice to see Toriyama's still got it!
Maybe that's what he means. The
Kanzenban release is still technically the manga series. Or maybe he was just being his usual forgetful self.

To be exact, the original tweet says "first time since the series' original serialization", so Toriyama forgot what he did again.

I don't know what I love more, the newly drawn kid Goku and Arale, or the rocker Goku at the end.

You've got to be kidding me. I thought they were easily the worst, even in his current standard, except maybe Tao Pai Pai. Goku at the end looks... horrible. How in the world is he so skinny? As an artist myself, I find them to be so uninspiring.

They're probably just quick sketches, is all.

1) They're quick sketches.
2) They're meant to be fun and light in feel, not hardcore detailed and actiony.
3) Toriyama's art style has evolved over the years, notably moving away from the hard and angular look of the Cell and Majin Boo arcs and back in the cartoony direction of earlier Dragon Ball. These look spot-on like the work he's done for such things as the recent
Dragon Quest games.
