Also, there was this one:

It's been possible since Raging Blast 1 so I'd assume that the developers have permitted for all other Dragon Ball games afterward.InfernalVegito wrote:Is it possible to play your own songs/tracks on PS3 while playing the game? Can someone confirm?
^ This I agree.NintendoBlaze53 wrote:After watching both Budokai & Budokai 3's credits Kenji Yamamoto is credited as music composer. Also the music placement on Budokai 3 is GREAT the tracks fit perfectly.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
I think it is the collector's edition, because you can set the voice in Japanese. They must have taken the source code from the greatest hits edition, they probably wouldn't bother to create a hybrid version by creating a new source code that has the Japanese voices from the collector but doesn't have the 3 extra costumes like the non-collector.GogetaSSJ2 wrote:So to everyone in the UK who now has the Budokai HD Collection, have you guys found out if the Budokai 3 version thats in the game is the greatest hits/collector's edition version? Meaning does the HD collection have the 3 extra costumes when you imput a passcode into Dragon Arena? The 3 extra costumes are Halo Goku, King Piccolo, and Trunks w/ Saiyan Armor.
Yes, it's possible. I wouldn't advice it because as stated in the most recent posts, the tracks are a perfect match for all that happens in the game. Great replacement score!InfernalVegito wrote:Is it possible to play your own songs/tracks on PS3 while playing the game? Can someone confirm?

I'm trying to unlock everything as fast as I can, I'll try to confirm that as soon as possible, but someone might beat me to it.![]()
This would imply that the Budokai 2 intro videos are there too, which makes me wonder what soundtrack will be used. Plus, the source code had two versions of the video, one vocal and one instrumental. So did they really bother to change the code so that only one video will appear now (or none?!) or did they just set a totally different soundtrack for each of these Budokai 2 videos?
Again, that depends on how far they were willing to change things for this HD collection, but I don't think they'd take out any content, they were more into adding things like all those new facial expressions in the story mode perhaps.
EDIT: Apparently, it's been confirmed on French forums that the HD collection has the 3 extra costumes (or 4 extra characters, Vegeta not changing his appearance). No surprise there!![]()
I can confirm it myself now.GogetaSSJ2 wrote:Awesome! That's great news to hear.Cold Skin wrote: EDIT: Apparently, it's been confirmed on French forums that the HD collection has the 3 extra costumes (or 4 extra characters, Vegeta not changing his appearance). No surprise there!![]()
Well it looks like Bandai Namco actually went the extra mile this time LOL. I never got a chance to use these extra costumes in the original ps2 version, or play with japanese voices for that matter. Looks like I'll be enjoying THE authentic version of this game this winterCold Skin wrote:I can confirm it myself now.GogetaSSJ2 wrote:Awesome! I've entered the password in the Dragon Arena, and it unlocks the super-boosted characters to fight, and adds the 3 extra costumes on the other game modes!
