I'm going to stream-of-consciousness comment on this.
Rabbit-guy looks kind of Ancient Egypt-esque.
Was there somebody like this in the original Journey to the West?

Also, either that's Videl with a new haircut in the background or I spy a movie-only new female human character.

Black text says "Battle of Boos"; so, is this guy something else Bibidi-created? Also, looks like we get evil magical characters after all? *Hopes for some major reality-warping stuff*. I don't see Pilaf's gang on this either.
That looks like the kanji for "god" down there.

I am definitely waiting until this is confirmed as either real or fake before I take anything further with it.

I don't think it matters "what we know", they could change that easily with some crazy story. Perhaps these are the guys who created the Gods? Or maybe this is Boss Rabbit's revenge!

No, no. Can't blame Toei this time. Not after all the talk we got of Toriyama behind things. If anything this would make sense of Gohan being SSJ in GT (And that'd be one less thing for the GT-haters to shut up about).

Oh, there's always a way to have a newly discovered "they-were-locked-somewhere" or "they-were-the-ancient-Gods-we-banished" explanation.
Series like Stargate have proven you can always find an excuse to suddenly bring in a new "forgotten-until-then" bigger-than-ever force out of nowhere in the in-universe mythology to make a new threat.

And Super Saiyan Gohan... I don't understand - just like in GT - why they are so afraid of not having him transform. I mean, they've done it with movie 13 and it worked fine, nobody complained, it made sense that Gohan didn't transform when the others do... So why would they suddenly think "if Gohan doesn't turn Super Saiyan, people won't understand, let's have him transform even if it's not logical and even if we didn't do it back then"?
Maybe the movie will actually be used to give an explanation and rationalize this in GT.

*Has to really squint at the picture* Ah, this is true. That 3rd letter is a "D" after all. The first letter of that word is still too fuzzy, but the third does seal it. Forget what I said about Bibidi then.

I wonder if rabbit-guy has a final form; he just does not look that strong, but then I guess in DB you don't have to be ripped to be strong *thinks of child Goku* it's just something I've gotten accustomed to seeing in Z (outside of Buu and #19).

Is there an Egypt counterpart in Dragon World? I can't recall it ever coming up before.

I feel like leaked images are eternally going to be in bad-quality fuzzy compression form no matter how far technology goes. (Even though I'm still not sold on this being an official image.)

I don't particularly like this villain design but at least it is something different instead of random odd colored muscular guy. I see Tenshinhan and Yamcha(I think?) in the background so I'm happy they'll at least appear. The guy between Goku and the new villain guy looks kinda weird. I think I see a miniature Shuu next to the girl's(Videl?) foot.

And Chi-Chi doesn't have bangs anymore so it can't be her either.

I can't begin to guess who she is (would be hilarious if it's yet another relative of Vegeta's that he didn't tell anyone about) but I feel like by virtue of fandom being what it is she's going to end up launching a thousand ships. That is, if she's a new character and not just Videl with a different haircut.


Rabbit-guy's not all that appealing to me either; I hope he at least has some creative powers.

When I first saw that purple rabbit god-thing, I bursted out laughing. Looks like something from Yu-Gi-Oh.


And yes, I'm 99.9% sure this is real. How CAN this be fake in the first place?

I'm going to guess it's just Videl.

Perhaps they downgraded Gohan as a Super Saiyan so Gokuu can have the spotlight of being the strongest (excluding Gotenks, but he never accomplishes anything so he's pretty null and void of that title).

Toriyama being involved doesn't change the fact that Toei are making the movie. And Toriyama being involved doesn't instantly make SS1 Gohan make sense - it still conflicts with what we saw in the series.

It also seems like Krillin is holding a beer and Bulma is holding a wine glass. Perhaps the events of this movie unfold during some party.
