First thing that I thought of as well.

It's also funny that first the pokemon lucario reminded me of dbz and now dbz is reminding me of that pokemon.

Lucario has this Kamehameha like move and is also obviously based on anubis.

That drawing is excellent.

I thought Krillin would actually have a role in fighting again :(

Errrr... what to think about this? The poster looks pretty damn good, the only problem I have is the weird half cat/rabbit purple thing. It just looks a bit strange? I assume he will be the main villain in the film.

Battle of Gods is a pretty interesting name. I look forward to hearing more information on this!

Wow, I didn't expect this. My guess is that Pilaf & co. released those gods, and these gods turned them that small for some reason. It seems that they will also attack when Goku & co. will have a party. And Gohan seems to have lost his Ultimate power-up.

I love this poster. After all, it seems this movie is going to be awesome.
I actually love the purple cat and Tenshinhan seems to be wearing a weird brown necklace.

SSJ Gohan? Unless they pull off a really good explanation, this about sums up its canonicity to the manga.

Pilaf and company stole a space ship from Capsule Corp. and went to Space Egipt to unleash Space Anubis and whoever it is in the background. That girl in the poster is probably someone researching whatever is going on there.

They'll need the help of Space Yugi and Space Exodia.
(ps: Watch FUNimation releasing it as "Battle of Kamis" lol)

Seriously, though, I'm really excited about seeing where this goes!

Videl's clothes (if that's Videl) don't seem so Chinese-themed. Her tights & boots are like the ones Saiyans wear.

Another thing I noticed is that Pilaf isn't green like we saw him in that recent picture.

Haha, awesome, logically, what is there next besides of gods to battle.
Always had in mind my own fanfiction with the last ultimate enemy being a god at the end of the DB story.
I hope it won't be too much like Saint Seiya 8)

Girls actually wear such tights and shoes nowadays. I think it's possible that it has nothing to do with what Saiyans wear.

Plenty of things, actually. Just that it may turn out to be invalid accusations, so I'll have to wait for the movie to be released, THEN discuss the canonicity problem further.
You know Toriyama is involved, so why get defensive about it?
Toriyama's deeply involved in script writing, but he's not the only scriptwriter. That's the most important thing here. Unless, of course, we find out that Toriyama's done it all.

I just hope Masako Nozawa's still got Goku/Gohan/Goten in her and the composer for the film doesn't disappoint.

This might be the last of Nozawa's last DB performance.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Yeah, she's pretty old allready. The Buu arc of Kai and this movies are maybe her last actings.....
Oh damn, If they will be able by some miracle to get Kikuchi, I will burst in tears of joy!

I'm a happy man, I don't care about canon :)

I don't think it has anything to do with the Saiyans either, my point was that her clothes weren't Chinese-styled.

It could be that Gohan just lost his habit (or something).
But yeah, the Gods may also have the ability to suppress impacts from other Gods, making that Gohan has to transform again and is less powerful than Goku again.

No.
Yeah, I noticed that when the image got bigger!
At first, when we had the first LQ small picture, it really seemed like it (you didn't see the left part of him), I even tested it by superimposing the HD render on the poster. That's why I found it a bit suspicious.

But now that we have a clearer view, it appears it's clearly not the same, which eliminates my suspicions for now.
