Are there any deceased members?

Post by Ringworm128 » Sat Nov 17, 2012 9:55 pm

I know this is a kind of dark/grim question so I will understand if this get's locked but I can't help but be curious. Does anyone know of any Dai/Kanzenshuuers that are no longer with us?

A good buddy of ours from the alt.fan.dragonball days named Jim Stanfield was killed in a car crash on the way to school one morning (I believe that was the case, anyway -- it's been a number of years).

I still think about him every so often. Was recently just the tenth anniversary of his passing. I of course only knew him from conversations on the newsgroup, but he was a genuinely nice kid and was really enthusiastic about conversing and learning more about the series and the culture it came from.

Wow, that is really sad. I was not expecting a response like that to their post.

I do seem to remember a thread where a relative (I think mother, but it's been a long time, I could be wrong) logged in under the member's name to inform us that he had passed. I'd probably have a hard time finding it, but it's there somewhere.
New to the forum? Just want to know when you'll hit your next posting rank? Ever wondered why some users have special titles, and what they mean? The answers to all these questions and more are waiting for you in the Kanzenshuu Member Hierarchy Guide!!
