A diorama set, though I don't know the name. If anyone can chime in, that'd be great.

It has a shade of blue, though. What emits a blue light? I say that the suit is actually blue. A very dark blue. So dark that a good portion of the suit, that doesn't face the sun or other light source, may even appear as black.

Anyway, here we can clearly see that the place where the Cell Games took part doesn't seem to have much grass (if any), unlike in most of the media.

Bardock and Vegeta swap armor colors.
Bardock's outfit has all the dark parts of his armor becoming white and the green parts becoming yellow/brown; scouter lens is red.
Vegeta's has black armor with white lining, and the yellow/brown parts become green.

There is still grass, it's just that image. They made the diorama's based off Toriyama's artwork, including the color choices. There would't be grass in the image below if it wasn't there on his original image.

Or they decided to add grass to not contradict 99% of the media that is not manga.

You can see the grass in the original image, the colors just aren't as vibrant.

Works for me, I'll add this Trunks.
Since it can be interpreted as black or a dark/desaturated blue that only appears in sunlight, I'll probably go for the "black with a hint of blue" option, trying to convey that same feeling of some people saying "this is black" and others saying "this is blue, albeit dark/desaturated".

But the blue part on Cell's right part of his body and his pecs makes me wonder if that blue isn't actually just the environment, mostly the blue sky, reflecting on the characters.
I think I see the same on tiny parts on the right of Gohan shoes.

What do you think, guys?
Is it all black or is this blue really a hint of blue that's part of the clothes?

I thought exactly the same at first, but those blue parts on Cell (and probably Gohan) are exactly where the sun doesn't reach directly. And... dayum! It's the same for Trunks as well! Look to which side his shadow falls on the ground. So now it seems that Trunks actually wears black, and the blue color on all 3 characters is a stylistic choice for places that aren't directly reflected by the light source. If that makes any sense.

UPDATE: BARDACK / PICCOLO / TULLECE / TRUNKS / VEGETA

Hope you won't mind a little Raging Blast 2 and Zenkai Battle Royale being thrown into the mix!

I sure don't mind buddy! Thanks for the update. One thing I must pick on but I'm not entirely sure: I think Tullece's skin tone changes as well and that costume is supposed to represent Kakarotto.

No, it doesn't change. Also, his scouter doesn't become blue, it stays red.

I think it doesn't change, but that's a little hard to say actually because it's hard to find a huge image of this DLC costume.

From what I can tell on the only pictures I could see on "Google Image", Tullece retains his slightly darker skin, here is the link, you'll see only two pictures of him appearing in the search page (the very first one, and one on the fourth line):

Oh yeah, your message must have appeared when I was typing mine, I didn't pay attention! :)

Thanks for the picture, it helps a lot! 8)

I'll correct that scouter mistake. Since I couldn't see clearly on the first tiny picture - the only one I saw before editing the render - I looked for some descriptions given by players that might have seen a better-sized picture back then, but... they were actually wrong on that point!!
You saved the day (or at least that picture...)! :)

CORRECTED: TULLECE

The scouter - which was mistakenly changed to a blue color until now - now retains its original red color for the DLC costume from Raging Blast 2.
Thanks to TheDevilsCorpse for pointing out that mistake and showing a good picture of the actual costume. 8)

UPDATE: BROLY / CELL JR. / DABRA / PICCOLO
CORRECTED: BROLY

Broly's pictures were too much of close-ups to be able to show all of his changed features.
His massive body results in him appearing quite tiny on the new pictures, but at least you can see most of his clothes now.

I also had to decide if the what-if character would belong to Cell or Cell Jr., but since the thread's all about changing colors, the what-if result is a Cell Jr. palette swap after all, even if the character himself is Cell.
Admit it, you like that What-If character! 8)

I just got around to this, but on the Cell Jr. with Kuririn's features, he's supposed to lose his nose too. Also I might make the armor a bit brighter purple if you can, it's fairly bright in-game. (You also forgot to color his fists to the same color as his face. )

Good remarks, I'll try to do what I can.
Erasing the nose goes beyong simple recoloring, but I'll see if I can do something about it.
