Uncut 1997 Ocean Dub Clip...
I was stuck in the house all day today and I was really bored. Out of no where, I decided to put the Ocean dub audio over the uncut DragonBox footage. I had to cut some scenes out to make it fit the audio on screen. But yea, if you're into this sort of thing, check out this little clip...

Although a neat creation, it has been done before. Entire episodes even.

Really? Full episodes? Well, I totally give credit to anyone that does it. It was a pain in the ass because so much was cut out of that dub. I had to chop off two parts from that one clip alone, I couldn't imagine doing a whole episode.Gonstead wrote:Although a neat creation, it has been done before. Entire episodes even.

Yeah there's many out there that have done this. I've done the first two episodes myself and even went as far as reinserting the censors:

Thanks. I had actually used it also as an excuse to reinsert the 1996 lines back in that were heard in the 'Daizenshuu EX' podcast and World of DBZ feature.

I did an attempt for one of the Westwood dub episodes using DBOX footage.
It's the timing that really gets annoying at times when you are working with that dub. They edited out more footage than the edited in-house Funimation dub.

Why would you re-insert the censoring >_> For nostalgia's sake?

It was just an experiment to see how it'd turn out instead of just cutting it up. I don't approve of any censorship in general, but yeah, you could say a little bit of nostalgia too.sangofe wrote:Why would you re-insert the censoring >_> For nostalgia's sake?
