Post by Hitiro » Sun Nov 18, 2012 11:18 pm

Can anyone tell me who composed Kiseki no Honō yo Moeagare!? All I've found is the lyrics were, apparently, written(I'm assuming lyrics) by Yuriko Mori and Kanon Yamamoto and that was from wiki do I don't know how trustworthy it is.. x.x

The song was composed by Kenji Yamamoto, which means that it won't be officially released anymore.

Ah yes, you mean like re-release after it's out of stock.
Yeah, that probably won't happen :/

The more I think about this, the more I worry. A lot of the current DragonBall CDs are going out of print. The DBZ Complete Song Collections, many of the current singles, etc. And Yamamoto composed so many of those songs. How far is this "no more releases of Yamamoto's work" thing going to go? At this point, do we have any hope of anything getting re-issued?

IIRC, all the songs released during DBZ's initial broadcast except for Battle Point Unlimited and Shura-Iro no Senshi were composed by other musicians, so they're safe. When it comes to the theme songs of the video games released after DBZ ended, they're all gone for good because Yamamoto composed them.
