Kind of interesting that Raichi managed with technology what it took Shenron to do back in the actual movie.

Again, tell me this is Gogeta Jr. and I'd believe it. But even aside from that, given that most of the special artists have seriously struggled with proportions/consistency and Beta appears to...well...not, that alone makes me prefer her to take over as opposed to anyone else we've seen so far.

I happen to think Raichi is out of character. He's too mellow. In all versions he had this insane erratic behaviour and now he's just mellowed out. Makes no sense to me, but it's just an opinion. Whatever floats your boat.

Yeah, but remember, that was when he was out for revenge. In this story, he's already achieved that. It'd be a little weird if he was still so manic. To me, he seems like he's bored now, disenchanted with life because he no longer has a goal to work towards. That's why he eventually, and reluctantly, agrees to free Tapion here.

That's how I'm looking at it anyway. Like you said, it's all opinion.

Anyone else seeing something off on Tapion's face in the second panel? It's not bad, and I'm not even NEAR complaining, but there's...something...and I can't quite place my finger on it. Hmm.
