That was not an easy task!

Luckily, we had the list of games from which it was from, thanks to dbboxkaifan!

Too bad some tracks were limited to a one-time occurence in this collection, and as a short version only.
However, they are in high quality compared to the original files included on PS2 for example (for BT2 soundtracks for example).
So you found Budokai 3 Instrumental Opening? Where was it hidden?
No, no, no, I guess I misled you, sorry! That was really an unfortunate way to express myself in my first post!

I was talking about the songs I could hear in the collection that I never heard - or didn't remember - from previous games.
Thanks to your listing of the games that had their soundtrack used for this collection, I could end up locating those tracks that were unknown to me - there's still one remaining, but I'm pretty sure it comes from Tag Team too (which would be logical, since it's one of the only games I don't have, for I don't have the hardware that goes with it)!

I really think the Budokai 3 instrumental opening is used nowhere for two reasons:
- except finishing the "Legend of Mr. Satan" mode - why the hell is this so hard?! -, I've done pretty much everything and didn't hear it.
- if they were allowed to use it, they would have put it in the intro itself I guess. And regardless of the lack of singing voice, it's still a never-use-it-again Yamamoto track.

Wait, how many copies did it sold?

If going by the list and the game being at the bottom it isn't much, I guess.

That low down the 360 only chart probably puts you at a few hundred copies.

I think its more than a few hundred copies. Raptr, a service which keeps track of your game hours and achievements, has over 2,000 users who have had the game since the release date.

Unless Raptr tracks individual countries and provides that info why is that relevant to UK sales discussion? When you're at the bottom of the Xbox 360 charts in the UK you're pushing a few hundred copies.

Its relevant because not everyone uses Raptr and I doubt that only people who use Raptr purchased the game. People who use Raptr would make up a small percentage of the actual people who play any games. Also my local games shop has a few pre-owned copies of the game, that really never happens with DBZ games in my neck of the woods. In fact, its only happened to me once before and that was with a single copy of Raging Blast. And just because its near the bottom of the charts doesn't mean its only pushing out a few hundred copies. Otherwise other new titles would have been littering the bottom of the charts too. The only other new titles during that week that are in the chart are WWE'13 and Batman: Arkham City - Game of the year edition. I don't know much about WWE'13 but Arkham City GOTY edition(Which was delayed till the 2nd of November) only appeared in at 32 in the charts and considering how well received the original and its predecessor was I doubt this GOTY edition only sold a couple hundred copies.

So you're giving me anecdotal evidence? I know for a fact that when you're that low in the UK charts you're pushing hundreds, not thousands. As for Batman, re-releases actually do start very low and eventually come to a big total. I don't know why you're arguing this with me.

How do you know this exactly? You state it is without even giving any explanation or evidence. Also you may be aware of examples of charts where around that position in the charts they have only be in the hundreds but that isn't necessarily true for each week of the charts. If 40 games were released and sold around the same amount as Halo 4 respectively(for arguments sake). With only variances in the sales between them then the last one in the charts would still have 3 million sales.

So far this has only happened once out of a few times and I'm sure it's probably happened with other people, but Broly's ultimate isn't censored 100% of the time. Most of the time I get the white flash, but one time (off guard and didn't realize it right away) it wasn't. It was still in it's uncensored format.
GT isn't bad, just sucks ass in comparison to the other 2 animes.

There's a couple of reasons why it was and wasn't.

After playing Budokai 1, 2 and 3 again on PS2, I don't feel like getting this one because it doesn't have the original music and no multiplayer.

Generally its not censored when the battle area has already been destroyed. So if your fighting on a destroyed Namek(Because of an ultimate) as opposed to the regular Namek then it becomes uncensored. That's the only time I've noticed it not being censored.

In the Hyperbolic Time Chamber (which cannot be destroyed) the Ultimate is uncensored, too. I guess the censored version only "activates" with the rocks rising when Broly smashes the opponent's head on the ground.

Heya, this is Budokai-related.

So I'm thinking of purchasing Budokai 3 PAL normal and Budokai 3 PAL Platinum, just to be sure, because the Platinum edition has the Japanese voices and extra stuff right?

And then after swapping the discs, I'd get rid of the Platinum version by selling it (with a note that it has the regular disc). I'm a bit OCD with things like this. :P

Thank you for telling us about your personal purchasing decisions. If I was OCD I'd probably want my games to be in their actual cases instead of purchasing two versions of something so I could randomly swap the cases for no reason, but different strokes.

I like looking at them on the shel(ves) so to me it matters the cover, just as the guys who worry about BDs with their original slipcovers. Done.

There's the CE still new sealed for 15 quid on eBay UK but in terms of cases and whatnot I'm not that deep into it. It's just the cover that kinda bugs me.

For what it's worth, the Limited Edition cover with just Goku does look a lot better, with the sleeve with the same cover art as a bonus. (And you wouldn't have to get it twice.) It's the one I seeked out for a bit...'til getting the Platinum one anyway :P

DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI HD COLLECTION

Now costs £19.95 (was £24.95) on Xbox 360 and PS3.

360: http://www.zavvi.com/games/platforms/xb ... 24961.html

PS3: http://www.zavvi.com/games/platforms/ps ... 24960.html

When it reaches £9.95 or £14.95 I'll think about it.
