I guess that Vegeta card is our new SSJ transformation card? Meh, I was hoping something a bit better then USSj GT Vegeta.

You should back-peddle the thread. It's not a new transformation card, it's just a poorly drawn SS Vegeta.

It look like USSj to me . I guess we start seeing the Super 17 saga soon and I think we will likely end up seeing a lot of SSj4's transformations. We already a bunch of new SSj3's then new SSj4's seems possible.

Forgot to update with this. The other day, the Heroes website's background changed, which usually only happens when a new set of cards is released. Should look kinda familiar... (Sorry the image is so big, but we're almost at the end of the page anyway.)

Why is this relevant to the discussion?

Is that the alternate timeline? Are they making a big deal out of that? They can only get one extra character out of it.

Should definitely be Trunks' timeline, and it seems they are going to get at least 4 "new" cards out of it. Future Gohan and his transformation, as well as "Future Trunks" and his transformation.

Heroes just updated their promotional card list, and though the images aren't up yet, the entries for the cards to be given away with Ultimate Mission have been included. As dumb as it sounds, they are making a distinction for Trunks before and after he time travels. The Trunks from that timeline we've been playing as from the series itself is labeled トランクス：青年期, or Trunks: Seinen-ki/Adolescent/Young Adult, while the "new" one from the TV special is トランクス：未来, or Trunks: Mirai/Future.

I say that, just because if you take a look, one building is done is repeated, and not too much good...

I would have thought that Future Trunks should be the one who is actually in the past from the future. That naming seems weird to me.

Huh, whilst I was typing my previous post I was thinking that they might create separate versions for 17 and 18 if they really wanted, as useless as they would be. It had crossed my mind a great while ago to have another version of Trunks. I'm guessing this one is the teen-aged version from the future.

Also TheDevilsCorpse got any cool wallpapers for us? You've been doing some based on the background images. Care to share the previous one and possibly this one?

It's possible. I have no idea what they'll do in order to get new characters for the set, but that seems like a valid option, as silly as it may be (though this Trunks situation isn't much better, so...). But no, judging from the image on the card, this version of Trunks seems to be the one from after Gohan is dead and right before he goes back in time, in the light blue jacket and the sword (our previous Trunks had a card with this costume but I don't think it was the one used for the in-game model).

No. I made a wallpaper of GM5 for myself, but I didn't save the file when I moved on to the Battle of Gods one I'm using. And the background they have on the site now isn't worth making one out of IMO. It's literally just the same old space background with the destroyed city over it. No character art or anything. Meh.

Apparently this "story" is based of the TV special, but features fighting 17 and 18 with help from Future Gohan and "Future" Trunks, and then battling 13, 14, 15 and Cell, and then having help show up as SS3 Yardrat Goku? lulz Maybe someone who speaks the language can clarify what the fuck is actually going on..., but the update clearly states that it's at least based off of the Trunks side-story. xD

Ah, excellent. A glimpse at what the Alternate Future Arc's casts' finishing moves (or certain-kill techniques (hisatsu-waza), if you will) are.

SS2 or Ultimate, like in Shin Budokai 2, would probably be more likely. I don't know how popular that game was, but it's likely they could still pawn the form off as "new" for the current, younger generation of fans.
