Complete BGM Collection - I received mine today

Post by MultilangDBZ » Fri Feb 24, 2006 11:24 am

Two days to the UK... my, they must have some sort of secret passage from Japan to here. I guess living here as a uni student temporarily does have its advantages.

What can I say? It does have the bulk of the Boo Saga music that I've always really wanted and searched everywhere for.

Furthermore, it also has most (if not all) of the spin-offs of We Were Angels and We Gotta Power. You'll know what I'm talking about once you get to Disc 3, Track 4 onwards. Most of all, they have the suspense closing piece in the Boo Saga episodes that I really like - which is also the one used for when Vegetto turned Super Vegetto.

I'll probably post more after I listen to the rest, and if nobody else does.

In short, I'm very satisfied with this set, based upon the Boo Saga music alone.

I wish to high heaven my copy would arrive. It was sent off by CD Japan *supposedly* the day it came out, and I picked the quickest delivery option available, but it's still not here. Does it come with a booklet?

Anyway, big thanks for the Disc 3 transcription! That makes discs 1 and 3 clear to me (Blastero transcribed the first disc for me). Now, about disc 2... it doesn't appear to have any new tracks that aren't on the 5-disc set, but perhaps these tracks have been extended with more BGM? I do hope so, because that would certainly redeem this set *a little* in my eyes.

(When they say "Complete" BGM Collection, why can't they make it COMPLETE for hell sakes!!!)
BGM forever! If only more people paid attention to it... well, I intend to change that.

I ordered from mine from CD Japan and via EMS as well. They also sent me a poster of the Complete Music Collection with the set, apparently to persuade people to buy both.

Yeah, the set does come with a booklet, which contains mini descriptions of each piece in there, lyrics for the TV size songs and a complete episode listing table with original air dates.

It was stereo on every other CD, too.

Mine hasn't arrived either.. In fact, the tracking progress says my order was on it's way on the 22nd and there's no info on whether it arrived here in the US yet..... It doesn't take THAT long to fly from Japan.. :?

Then again, the last time I ordered from cdjapan, it took me 8 days total to get my items so I'm still expecting the same thing.

A complete... episode listing... table?? You don't mean... they documented where each BGM piece appears, like I'm doing right now... ?

Did you order the fastest shipping possible last time? This is only the second time I've ordered from CD Japan (the first time was about four years ago), and though I can't remember which shipping method I chose, it arrived ridiculously quick (I think only two days after shipment).

No, don't worry, it's just a table with original air dates and the episode titles, nothing more.

I used the normal EMS method which is a supposed 3-6 days like I did the last time I used them.

Edit: Just got it today! :D

Thank you, Multilang! It looks like they did a good job of putting more pieces on it! I may yet get to hear "Coola's Multiplicity" (on track 8?) in full CD glory! Unfortunately, it looks like another of my favorite pieces, the 3-minute one where Kaio explains Bojack's history, won't be on here.
