God didn't put the "snake" there. The snake was supposed to be Lucifer.Dominator wrote:*Insert joke about Michael Jackson here*The Mole wrote:Children wouldn't care about nudity. Hell, little kids are running around naked almost all the time where I live, and absolutly no one cares.
Why, did God even put the snake and the tree there if there was bound to be a fuck-up?Saiya-jin wrote:I don't find anything wrong with it either. Maybe I should go back and time and Tell the first humans not to wear clothes, and for God's sake, DON'T EAT THE APPLE!!

That's a paradox. Either it proves God as fallible, or shows that he's a sadistic SOB to have let the Devil screw things up.Jerseymilk wrote:God didn't put the "snake" there. Anyway, back on topic.

But what about the guys and gals that do want to look at a penis?Saiya-jin wrote:Anyway, I just wanted to say that I don't care much about the little kid bottoms and *ahem* "wee-wees" but I don't really want to see a grown mans butt and *ahem* "penis".

It's a reference to the way Toriyama draws the penis and testicals. That is; they're in undetailed "U" shapes.Ok, I'm going to feel stupid for this but: What's with the "u"'s? Is it supposed to represent certain male anatomy parts?

I really, really need to get back into the habit of posting.
I have no problem with it. There are ways to present anatomy in a sexually way or in a casual way and I believe Toriyama does it in a casual way. Quite honestly, I think too often children was getting the message that there's something wrong with their body. And there isn't.

Yes there is. Relatively few people on this planet need to run around naked.ulisa wrote:I have no problem with it. I've always wondered why parents would allow their children to run around naked. It just seems unsanitary, and weird. I would never allow it.
Back on topic, I still don't mind nudity, (ironically enough,) esspecially in anime because I'm able to except that their culture is different then ours, and treats things differently as well.
I wouldn't say the same thing if an American cartoon came out with similar tones, however, but I'm willing to allow other cultures to do their own thing. And if I'm going to watch their programming, then I'm going to have to deal with its quirks. That's how I look at that. I also find it disrespectful to censor such things. Either watch it for what it's worth, or not at all.
But allow me to say that we created separate bathrooms for a reason people. 'Nuf said.

All I mean is that it disrepects their culture to edit it. In other words, don't take stuff out because you don't like it. If you can't stand it, then you probably shouldn't be watching it.HP wrote:That's very much true. And revolting.
What's so revolting about that?

That won't stop them. Look at all the bad American dubs...t-bone135 wrote:All I mean is that it disrepects their culture to edit it. In other words, don't take stuff out because you don't like it. Exactly. Censorship is just a way of changing something to suit another culture's needs, which is stupid. Since when do people run around putting hammers to others heads? (Dub One Piece) People need to realize that sex, cussing, and violence happen in the real world, and you will deal with it eventually, so why put it off?t-bone135 wrote:All I mean is that it disrepects their culture to edit it. What's so revolting about that?(Assuming you're talking about what I said still.)
