By the way, to those who were discussing the potential of a Neko Majin and Uub story after the end of Z (myself included), the time frame shown at Volume 5 might shed some light as to when it would be. You see, since both Dr. Slump and Neko Majin are gag mangas it makes sense they follow the same loose rules, the main thing here being the calender. As shown in the manga itself, Kuriza does acknowledge the passage of months as being the same as the real world, just like in Dr. Slump, which did the same for years. If we accept that the years are the same in and out of universe and then convert it back to Age years, like me a Dayspring did back in the day, you end up with Age 789, the beginning of GT, February to be more precise, is when the final volume takes place. The way Pan and Uub look helps cement this since they're shown to have aged, although Goten has the same hairdo he did back in 784.
It's kind of funny how this all falls into place since one character, Thunderbolt, is famous for having won the Tenkaichi Budokai, his appearance falls into September 787, the same year of the 29th Tenkaichi Budokai, which as we know happens in May. Coincidence? Probably. But it is very interesting how everything kinda falls into place.

I can't help but wonder if the artwork used on the poster is from an earlier character design for Birusu; given the differences between it and the rest of the art he's in.

The waiting for news now that Jump Festa is over is gonna go back to being tough again; as there's no way to tell when the random bursts of news will occur (though I have noticed they're more likely to happen Monday through Wednesday) and I still don't know exactly what amount of craziness to expect from the film.

I guess things'll just slow down again until the holidays are over. All the Jump magazines are taking breaks right now anyway.


I am enjoying Google's weird translations when I copy-paste the 2ch text into there, though. Google-translate is reading "bodice" instead of "belt" or "sash" for that piece of cloth Goku ties around his gi.

While movie looks very interesting, and I'm looking forward to see it, i really hope that no Saiyans fighters won`t get one-shot K.O, at least gave them minions to kill, in every DBZ movie Earthlings are easely beaten by main villain minions

I'm taking screen shots of the trailer for a Flickr set and I noticed there's what looks like a huge plate of food early in the trailer...

So it's a plate of food? I've been trying to figure out what that was since I first saw the trailer.
Also never noticed that the "time-bombs" (giant exploding hourglasses) were inside bubbles before.

Maybe the four planets of the Makaio, with Bills being something like the Grand Makaio.

Also, Bills loves food, that's one more reason for him to not be killed and befriend Goku at the end of the movie.

Yeah, I remarked the two other planets on the backround after I posted. Still, only the four biggest planets really surround Bills' temple and their position seem to mirror that of the Kais' planets. Knowing the Demon World is the complete opposite of Kaioshin and Goku's world, the planets could be equivalent of the Kais' planets in the Demon World?! And thus, this could mean that Bills is from the Demon World.

I don't see any remarks on the previous post but never mind.
The planets seem to be all the same size, just in different locations, thus making them seem bigger or smaller. I highly doubt it has any connection. It would be fun but first, as I said before, the Demon Realm is like a tenth of the size of the Afterlife Realm, if not smaller. I don't think there are four Makaios with a Dai Makaio and then another four Makaioshins with a Dai Makaioshin to govern such a small realm. There's probably one Makaio and one Makaioshin and that's it, they're rarer than Kaioshin anyway. Second, the more that is revealed, the less likely it seems to be any connection between this movie and what Toriyama stated about the Shinian race.
