Dragon Ball Games (NB) pondering Tenkaichi 4 / R. Blast 3

Post by dbboxkaifan » Sat Dec 22, 2012 11:52 am

On Namco Bandai's Dragon Ball - Games FaceBook page yesterday they added a poll, and in that poll it lists various options one of which Spike fanatics (some Tenkaichi/RB fans probably don't even know it's Spike who developed the games) have been asking so much.. "Tenkaichi 4 / Raging Blast 3".
I didn't vote for "announcement of the best db adventure game ever" because Namco Bandai has shown that isn't competent to do such thing, so they didn't leave me much choice of options to vote for.

Anyway, not expecting anything for Christmas from Namco Bandai, but it's said that The Walking Dead: Episode 1/5 full game is going free on Xbox 360 for limited time. I'll be buying the complete retail collection instead, but also getting this for the time being and more achievements.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:

Huh, this is weird. But they're definitely gauging interest for something... I'm tempted to put "Best DB Adventure game" because that really would be the best thing (Even though it will never happen).

Edit: Nice to see the Adventure game is actually in second place. People do care.

You're not to late.

I would rather a Shin Budokai 3 for PS3 and the 360 with some decent netcode.

Was there a "create a hybrid of the content from Raging Blast 2 and Sparking! Meteor into a new, better game" option? Because that's what I want. I'm not looking to start a debate here, but I've said plenty of times the combat depth isn't my personal priority for a DB game; so merge the best parts of the two games, including the huge rosters, costumes and stages, add in some new things here and there for some spice and then take my money. =P

I laughed at the apparent fact that there's an option for Tenkaichi 4 and RB3, and another option for Tenkaichi 4, but no RB3. Is this a hint that they're already making Tenkaichi 4?

Facebook allows users to add answer options. Are you guys sure that Namco Bandai actually put those up? I can't check because that Facebook page isn't available in my region.

Yeah you can add your own answer... I'm sure Namco Bandai at least put up the options of BT4/RB3 and the Adventure game (both in which I voted for), the rest look like fan additions, Omega Storm and Ultimate Tenkaichi 2 really?

I agree completely.. I have debated back and forth with some people on here about "depth" in a Dragon Ball game before, but like you said it isn't that important at least Imo. Pulling off insane juggles and cancel combos in a DBZ game it isn't really a big factor for me... I just want the game to be fun.

I honestly feel like I haven't had any real fun playing a DBZ game since BT3, anything else after that felt so rushed and half assed. The only thing I give Spike points for is how the Super Moves and transformation in Raging Blast 1 and 2 looked like they were ripped straight from the show.

Cooler's transformation into his fifth form in RB2 is still the most badass thing I've seen in a DB game since the Ultimate attacks in B2/3/IW.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

I wish they'd just scrap the Sparking!! gameplay style all together. It's never fun, and they've had enough attempts to perfect it but it hasn't worked for them.

Time to try something new, and no; (5 years in college and you'd think I'd know how to properly use a semi-colon by now :P ) not Ultimate Blast "new".

Ugh, not another Raging Blast or Sparking game. I bet when they give us another RB game or any game from Spike, 90% of us are going to bitch about it. If we get something new not from Spike then there is a decent chance we might get something good and most of us will be happy about it.

Me neither, but I can never seem to access any of the European DBZ Facebook sites (which is what I'm assuming this is), because I could never visit the site back when Ultimate Blast was first announced and they were advertising the page on their trailers.

Perhaps its a region thing like TheDevilsCorpse has said, I have no problem accessing it. Try: http://www.facebook.com/questions/542040445807067/ < Direct link to the question. A couple of us in the Budokai players group live outside the EU and they haven't said the link doesn't work when I shared it. So perhaps they got access to it when I use that link.

If that's the case then honestly I'd only expect the options about the Budokai HD Collection as a gift to be real, lol

Burst Limit 2 is the only correct answer.

I've just cast my vote for the adventure game, I can't imagine they really will make the best adventure game ever but there's a mass amount of possibilities.
So I may as well give 'em a chance to eh? :D
