Regarding the Fullmetal Alchemist one, wouldn't Majin Buu make the most sense as Gluttony? I do like the other suggestions, though, mostly because a Goku-Gluttony would be simultaneously creepy and hilarious.

Gokuu, Fat Boo, either one can count. (I never claimed to be that big a fan of FMA, though; as I said, I've pretty much only just started reading it, and am up to Volume 9.) I just thought it'd be funny to see Gokuu as Greed. Although he might as well be Tullece that way, though.

I think Piccolo as Scar would be frickin' cool, though.

Instead of his arm, Piccolo would have tattoos on his index and middle finger. He'd touch his victims on the forehead or chest, rather than grabbing them by the head.

For some reason I just assumed we were going the route of pure-blooded Saiyans being the sins. Which put me in the mind of something like this maybe.

Also, the further into FMA you get, the more you'll like it I think Piccolo Daimao. I'm one of the few that actually prefers the first anime (that strays from the manga story quite a bit), but it's all great.

Yeah, I'm liking it so far, thanks. As I said, I'm only on Volume 9, but I'm trying to save money to buy the next volumes. Then I'll try and watch the anime.

Dragon Ball in the style of Saint Seiya?!

Saints are warrior soldiers who protect the world in the name of the goddess Athena, wearing a protective armor called Cloth!
Ranking from bronce cloth wearing saints (the lowest class) passing through silver, up to the highest classed and strongest 12 saints who wear gold cloths, these warriors are ready to give their life for Athena!

Athena's current reincarnation, Bulma, has fallen victim to an attack just before entering the 12 houses of Capsule Corp. and now only has 12 hours left before she dies! To save her, 4 loyals bronze saints, Pegasus Goku, Dragon Ten-Shin-Han, Cignus Yamcha and Andromeda Krillin, must hurry and pass through the 12 houses, each protected by a Gold Saint, like Taurus Nappa, Cancer Raditz, and Gemini Vegeta, just to name a few, who don't believe that Bulma is the true reincarnation of Athena, thus branding our heros as traitors and enemies.
Join our heros as they battle their way up to the highest point of Capsule Corp. where Athena's temple resides, before the 12 hours are up. There, they'll find the Dragon Balls, who can be used to save their goddess!!!

But they won't be alone, as allies will help them along the way. Like a couple gold saints, who have recognized Bulma's identity as Athena, the old and wise Libra Roshi, and the guardian of the first house, Aries Kami! Also, the small Chaozu who stayed behind to look after Bulma. And last, but not least, the other bronze saint of the group, the aloof but most powerful bronze saint, Phoenix Piccolo!! Will these young saints manage to reach the strength of a gold saint to win each battle and rescue Athena in 12 hours!?, or will they see only defeat, letting Bulma die, without letting her have her only wish in life, having a cute boyfriend!!!!

Dragon Ball in the style of Rurouni Kenshin (sorry my bad English, but this sounds very cool in my head).

Goku Himura is a man wandering from planet to planet, but he hides the fact that he's a saiyan and killed lots of alliens in the name of Freeza. One day, he arrives at Earth, where he defeats the Pilaf gang that was trying to steal the Kamiya Dojo. Since then, he lives there with Chi-Chi Kamiya (Gyu-mao had died shortly before) and Uub Myoujin, a little boy who wishes to be strong and trains at the dojo. Goku soon befriends Yamcha Sagara, a desert fighter that had a fight with him.
After defeating the bear thief called Jin-E, Goku, Yamcha and Uub rescue Launch Takani from the Oniwabanshu Army, led by Red Takeda and Black Shinomori. A lot of Oniwabanshu soldiers die, and Black swears to defeat Goku later.
Later, Goku deafets Piccolo Isurugi, a powerful alien who was trying to create an army of aliens led by him.
Then, Raditz Saitou arrives at Earth. Raditz beats Yamcha and kidnaps Uub. Goku reveals that Raditz is also a saiyan and have a fight with him that ends in a draw. Raditz tells Goku that Freeza is in Namukkusei and plans to attack Earth soon. Goku leaves Earth after saying farewell to Chi-Chi, but she, Uub and Yamcha go after him.
Before reaching Namekkusei, Goku looks for his old master Roshi Hiko, the master of the Turtle Style. Roshi teaches Goku the ultimate technique of his style: the Kamehameha. Goku, Yamcha and Raditz go after Freeza. The Ginyu Squad fight against Roshi, Uub, Chi-Chi and Bulma Makimachi (did I mention her yet?). Yamcha defeats Dodoria, the monk. Raditz defeats Zarbon, the blind swordsman. Goku fights Black, who came back to revenge his fallen comrades.
Goku fights Freeza, but is defeated. Yamcha, Raditz and Black try to attack, with no success. Goku stands up and uses the Kamehameha, defeating Freeza once for all.
When Goku and co get back to Earth, the Kamiya Dojo is attacked by Dr. Maki Yukishiro. He's the younger half-brother of Gohan Himura, the man who adopted Goku but was killed by him. Yukishiro wants to avenge the death of Gohan, but he is defeated after a fierce combat.
Years later, Goku and Chi-Chi have a son called Gohan and Uub becomes Goku's sucessor, since he can't use the Turtle Style anymore.

He could work as Virgo, yeah. But since Kami is the mentor type, and prepared Goku for his fight agaisnt Piccolo, I thought he'd be a good match with Mu, since he prepared, in a way, Seiya and company before they went up the rest of the Houses. And yes, Piccolo would be a badass Phoenix. And if I had included Gohan here, maybe made him Andromeda then, Piccolo would be the perfect Phoenix haha
