Actually, the next shot after that, when it pans up, you don't actually see what he's holding plus he seems to be in a different location than the egg-to-dust shot. That is some clever editing. I was so excited I didn't even notice. ^^;;

Uh, erm... so what does everyone think of Uisu? Do you like that they're holding back information on him? I'm both loving and hating it at the same time. I have a feeling that he might be one of the deepest villains we've seen in the Dragon Ball franchise. Perhaps he has some link with Freeza? Y'know how Freeza destroys planets, and there needs to be destruction to make way for creation...if you see where I'm going here.

Another one of my concerns with this film is ticket sales. I really want this film to do well, but since it's been a non-stop bombardment of new Dragon Ball stuff since '08, I can't help but hear the Japanese crowds groaning in the distance.

Since the original Dragon Ball is something of an untapped resource, I feel like the first 16 volumes/153 episodes has more potential for a theatrical film since there's still that element of adventure and everyone's not overly powerful.

I am terribly curious about Uisu. Possibly more so than Birusu. Even though Birusu has that turning-stuff-to-sand ability, I feel like Uisu's the real magic-user/puppet-mastermind behind all this. I think Uisu also likely has ulterior motives to draw Birusu's interest towards Earth, is behind the shrunken Pilaf Gang, and he even might be behind whatever's going on with that Vegeta-tie-in-toy's expression/pose if indeed something magic-related caused that.

Also, I would adore a "circa 23rd Tenkaichi Budoukai" DB movie. There's so much about that era that makes me wish there'd been another adventure arc stuck in there somewhere pre-Z.

The new Weekly JUMP is out. I wonder if there's any neat new info?

If there's new info it's got to be in the form of an ad; there's unfortunately nothing in the Jump TOC or on the next issue preview about it.

Personally I find it weird to place the new movie beetween the Boo saga and the epilogue. I guess they wanted Goku to use his strongest form, but still didn't have the guts to do anything after the time-skip.

About that eye-socket bulge Birusu has going on in the movie poster; after YouTubing sphynx cats, looks like that's how their heads are shaped. (The meows are so high pitched though; it's kinda funny that Birusu has such a super-deep voice now that I know what sphynx cats actually sound like.)


Also! Looking at the new OPZ two-page ad in SJ 6-7; it's so nice, I can't wait for this sort of thing to start popping up for BOG.

So we can assume Uisu is the one who put Birisu's eyes on the Earth? You'd wonder why; only really notable thing about it is the huge powers. Would Uisu want them gone for whatever reason, or would pointing out the challenge be the only way to get Biri to cooperate?

Powerful second! How would you even go about it? His design looks pretty complete to me, probably the most so since Slug.

Which has sent me into a whole 'nother can of worms into realizing how most of the movies villains seemed built to transform.

The only transformation I could see him going through would be him buffing up. Other than that, I don't think there will be multiple forms. That shit is old.
