Guru and Kuririn - Anime error

In Manga, when Guru use his power, to find out why he need Dragon Ball, we can see images of King Piccolo and Kami, King Piccolo look like Piccolo Junior, with is correct, because Kuririn never meet King Piccolo in his youth form, in Anime, we see both Kami and King Piccolo in their youth form, and they both look like King Piccolo.

Yes, i understand, but, Guru still shouldnt be able to know how King Piccolo look like from Kuririn head, because Kuririn never saw him.

I think that was mostly just for the sake of making it easier on the viewers to understand what was going on.

Or? Gurus memories of kami and king Piccolo as young adults, might be a reflection on something from he's own memory in context to what he finds in krillins memory.
