The more I listen to it, the more I like it, to be honest. I'm actually getting pretty exited to hear it accompanied with new animation!

I liked it too! The auto-tune threw me off but it was very brief so I didn't mind it.

So they made "Cha-La Head Cha-La" sound more like "Yeah! Break! Care! Break!". Very DDR-ish.

Not completely horrible, but eh... doesn't seem to have the same spirit as the original. I like some of the guitar work in it, at least.

Awesome, gay version of chala head chala. Great start to the new year....... Ugh.
Singer is damn annoying and they cemented it with pretty bad use of autotune.
Synths are horrible too. Leave this three things out, get new singer and the chala head chala isn't so bad.
It hurts my ears not only as fan of original, but also as a musician.

Threw this on the I-Pod, and I must admit, it grew on me pretty fast. Really wasn't a fan of the kinda "dual-voice" effect they used for the vocals, but I loved the guitars! Hoping they throw the instrumental on the CD.

Will never have anything on the original, but it's a nice alternative take and I look forward to seeing how they use it in promotional material.

I love this version! Though I get tired of it right after the 1st chorus. This will make the opening for the movie look epic.

Is there any confirmation that this is actually going to play over the opening credits or is this just an assumption based on the usage of CHA-LA in the past? I was under the impression that this was just the movie's theme and that it was more likely to play over the ending credits than anything else.

I could be wrong though.

I would definitely DDR to this, and I probably will put it on my mp3 player.

I can't help but wonder what animation will be set to this; it's easily just faster enough than the original where I picture the opening going at 1.5 speed or something. It's gotta open to some kind of sparring/battle scene; I can't picture anything else DB-related that would fit comfortable with such a fast speed. It's too quick for party-sequences in other words.

The guitar was awesome and as someone who likes things like auto tune and talk boxes I enjoyed the vocals. And even if I didn't like auto tune I don't think I could bring myself to dislike any version of Cha La. I also enjoyed the synth in the background.

I'm glad they went a more modern-ish route with this. If they tried to make it more like the original...then there'd be no point, they could just use the original. Also, I think it sounds great! Flow isn't one of my top favorite bands, but they've got a good sound a quite a few songs that I like. Great job!

You know, I hate auto-tune with a passion and this is not my style of music but I kinda dug the song. As an anime opener it works and I could see the animation play out in my head as I listened. FLOW does a nice job of respecting the original work while still making it their own and keeping it "modern." Is it a musical masterpiece, no, but neither was the original. It's just fun.
