I got the "number at the end" thing right, and solar vs volcanic is kinda-sorta, but wow I really messed up my when's. 06/07 vs 2010. o_O Concept of time. I dunno.

Also never realized he only lasted 4 days on the forums before leaving.

While I'm not that well-versed in individual animators, I've really enjoyed all the various clips for hopefuls for the movie.

Why am I not surprised peguintruth started flame war with Schemmel?

I'd certainly welcome them, but I hope they would give more depth to the animation for the movie, if they were hired to do so. The animation in that video kinda looked a bit flat.

I'm finally caught up on this thread. Hoo rah.

Bit surprised the issue of dubbing came up at all. Way I see it, it's going to be a bit before we get a dub/home release of this thing.

Yay! :D

I wonder how the people of Japan are reacting to this film; both children and adults. I wonder if Oda will go and see it.

Are you still teaching Julian? If so, how are the kids reacting to it?

Oda going to go see BOG completely slipped my mind. XD
(That one interview where Oda and Toriyama are both present was such a fun read; you really get a good sense of how much Oda enjoys DB and how forgetful Toriyama is.)
I bet he'll get to watch it at one of those special previews the way Greg got to watch OPZ.

That awesome moment where you go to see Battle of Gods, and to your left is Oda, and to your right is Maximum the Hormone.

...Probably would never happen, but let's face it - you'd need new pants if it did.

That would be some movie-going experience. XD

I bet Oda will have comments about it in his Jump TOC after he sees BOG; looking forward to reading what he thinks of it. X3

Imagine Oda and a slew of other Manga artist's doing Bils and Uisu in their respective art style after watching BOG.

I love it when stuff like that happens.

Was that really Schemmel that posted? I wonder if he ever lurks around the board. He could be looking at this right now.. I would love to hear what he was thinking about this movie happening.

I think he's busy browsing the David Hasselhoff Impersonator Forums.

Hey guys the page shows the length of the movie and It is also stated that the film is running also in Argentina. Is this a fake? If not then have a good chance for a worldwide release 8)

We get it, you're not a fan of his work. Outsiders unfamiliar with the Japanese side already feel alienated enough...we don't need them to think we're elitist douche-bags. Especially on what I assume is the most lurked thread on Kanzenshuu.

121 minutes seems pretty decent...especially compared to the length of all the other Dragon Ball features. The English IMDB lists it with the same time...so I don't know if that means anything. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2536562/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Edit: Pretty decent? I mean fantastic! I had a brain lapse and accidentally interpreted that as 1 hour 21 minutes.
(which would still be more than decent, but I've seen too many ~3 hour moves lately)

I believe there was going to be an early screening on the 16th but I'm almost sure that's Japan only.

Argentina wouldn't have the movie first... in any case it would be shown first Mexico as most of Toei's work gets dubbed here for Latin America.

121 minutes sounds amazing. That would be like 6 episodes or a small arc. I really hope this bit is real....

Decent? That length is equivalent to that of Star Wars which is roughly 2 hours. That's more than amazing, if that's official.

I have to be honest with you. If I was a moderator, I'd put you on temp ban for saying those things to Schemmel. I do not want Funimation to think we at Kanzenshuu are some kind of elitists, which we aren't. You've said you don't like his work. That's fine. You just don't have to be douchebag.

Yeah...I just edited my post.

Two hours seems almost too good to be true. I don't know how they could even get Toriyama to sit down for that long. I guess it's not as bad if he doesn't have to draw it all.

121 minutes would be amazing, and I want it to be true, and not to burst bubbles, but can't anyone create an account and edit imdb, like Wikipedia?

Yeah... the most realistic scenario would be a 90 minutes feature movie. Still, doesn't stop me from wishing we get the full 120 minutes out of it!

I highly doubt it's 121 minutes long. Not even the big budget One Piece films are that long. Don't expect a run time until one appears on a reputable Japanese site.

I really doubt it but my god I hope it's true! I'm expecting something in the region of 90 minutes or so but two hours would be phenomenal.
Oh and I really like Sean Schemmels take on Goku, of course it's different than Nozawa's but not a bad different, at least to me anyway :)
