Bulma's name joke back in Dragonball

First of all I am a fan, and I accept eveything from Dragonball. However, I remember the first time that Goku met Bulma and he asked her name. Well, she was heistant of telling him but at the end she tells her name to Goku, and Goku started to laugh at her. Well so my question is this. Why did Goku laugh, I mean he had never seen a girl in his life before but he knew the name of women underwear?
Well I need an explanation please

Plus, back then, Dragon Ball was simply a parody manga. Toriyama-sensei probably didn't intend on it making sense, and it was just there as a joke.

This is the same era with the monkey looking for Penguin Village.

I think it's also funny that she's embarassed about telling Goku her name, but has no problem offering him a feel of her butt for the dragonball.

You have to remember Goku was raised by Grandpa Gohan, you have to worry about a man who teaches a boy about bloomers, that he should be nice to girls but neglects the useful details.

Well maybe Grandpa Gohan assumed that Goku was smart enough to figure out the anatomical differences himself? Big mistake on his part. XD
