How active is it? Any particular topics that you guys talk about frequently (I gotta feeling that Pokemon will pop up a fair bit)?

From what I've heard it's only sometimes active. The best bet is probably to make a Twitter since a lot of us follow/chat to each other on that site.

Activity in the IRC chat ebbs up and down during the course of a typical day. A lot of us simply idle in there while doing other things and will pipe up and say something when someoene else does.
Its primary function seems to be that of a substitute "off-topic" section. Anything goes, though video games seem to be what get discussed the most.
