The kanji needs to be big enough for me to read; unfortunately this scan is too small/fuzzy for me to make any of that out.

So news updates through Weekly Jump now? (Well, at least a news update in WJ #10 anyway) Nice!

I wish I could go but I don't have the money and I can't speak Japanese in order to understand the movie . Hopefully somewhere down the line there will be another DBZ movie and by then I will have the money and language skills.

I had considered a trip to Japan, I must admit, with a friend who's been planning to go to Japan himself. We were gonna do a tier 2 JP language class as well, maybe meet some more likeminded people but we unknowingly missed the cutoff date. Would've been great to see.

• Birusu attempts to destroy the Earth due to overuse of the Dragonballs.

• Majin Buu and Gotenks die.

• Goku goes on an adventure to meet the God of creation to help defeat Birusu while the rest battle him on Earth.

• Videl ruins Pilaf's plans for world domination.

Buu and Gotenks? Uh... I don't know. It sounds entertaining either way. Videl foiling Pilaf's scheme is the one I like the most. xD

Okay, the middle one is clearly bull. The rest, while not too out of this world, I still don't buy them.

1) Feels pulled from what someone else theroized earlier in the thread. Also, I'm not quite sure I can buy it under the context of Freeza telling Vegeta about Birusu as stories. It gives me a weird Space Grimms fairy tales vibe. I just can't picture Freeza sitting there telling Vegeta stories. I like the mafia-type theory someone mentioned earlier though about Birusu keeping Freeza under thumb and that being why Freeza wanted immortality.

2) That one sounds really fake.

3) Also sounds really fake. They're not going to kill of Gotenks of all people; they're the requisite kids of the group. Buu is more believable as a victim though. Also Yamcha.

4) This one I don't feel will happen because it'll take too long.

5) I can see this if she's the one who spots them reaching for the db's.

I could be mistaken, but I thought that was Janemba fighting ssj3 Gogeta in the trailer.

When it shows Birusu and Uisu doing finger-attacks, I noticed (though this again might mean nothing) that while Birusu uses his left hand, Uisu uses his right hand.

I don't see why, it's not like Goku has to tackle the task all on his own. This isn't like back in early Dragon Ball where character's weren't that fast and had no real ties with characters who possessed greater knowledge than their own. The search for the Sozoshin could be a fairly short one, just have Kaioshin teleport him to the god's realm and have the Saiyan take 7 minutes or so to search the place for him/her/it in order to prove himself worthy of the power to defy the Hakaishin.

I mean, I know we don't have confirmation of Kaioshin appearing (and he may not even be included in the film if he wasn't included as part of the character update), but it's just an example anyway.

I guess I can explain it as me just not having enough data. I don't know how long the film'll be or how much time they'll be spending on other portions of the story. If this was a manga arc I could easily see it, it's just more difficult with animation.

Though it would feel a big gag-manga, I can picture Goku meeting this god and it turning out to be Tori-bot or Toriyama himself.

The Freeza worshiping thing has come up in a few other predictions so far, but the more I think about it...I dunno. I just don't see it. I find it more likely that Freeza claimed to have killed Bils after he disappeared, and therefore amped up his own reputation, because everyone knew that Bils was strong...just no clue how strong he really was, obviously. I could see a flashback of young Vegeta being present for that little story though.

I doubt it, but I would actually love this. One of the main things I like in GT is that the Dragons attack because of this, it's the perfect tie-in to Old Kai's complaints at the end of the manga.

Hmm...it seems pretty unlikely, but maybe. I mean, we do know they summon the dragon for some reason in the film. Only thing is...Goten and Trunks are in that shot (can't remember on Buu), so...yeah.

Not an 'Adventure' maybe, but I could see this happening possibly. And count me among the people who would love if it was Toribot. Voiced by Toriyama himself no less.

This is entirely possible, and could work with her 'big involvement' maybe.
