Thats my thought process as well but I can make it work with a power level of 8 trillion+ which does work scaling-wise. Having Cell destroying stars according to my numbers requires a power level of 68 billion+. Lower numbers like those are a little harder to work with. Bigger numbers leave more room to fit things.

Yeah, I did say "more likely" but it's a long shot. After all, the sun is what the heroes use to take out the baddies when their own power isn't enough.

In the anime... more specifically, movie specials and GT... Furthermore DBZ characters can still blow up the sun and be killed by it at the same time. DBZ characters simply don't respond to heat well. Their Ki can still force the sun apart with little effort if strong enough.

I don't think there is a difference between the anime Vegetto and manga Vegetto. I take Goku x Vegeta literally so base Vegetto >>>>> Buuhan. Buuhan states Vegetto had been toying with him and Vegetto made light of Buuhan in base form. Yeah Vegetto let him get in a few hits but as a whole Vegetto was dominating and just went SSJ because he could.

I'd put him pretty far ahead of Buuhan. Maybe like two or three times as powerful. Yeah, he was winning the whole time. Dominating in fact. Buu even used some gigantic ki sphere attack thing and Base Vegetto effortlessly deflected it. Like TheMightyOzaru said, he basically transformed just because he could.

I have a hard time accepting Vegetto being that strong in base; didn't Majin Buu also say he was holding back some power and powered up sometime after being dominated in anime filler against base Vegetto?

I recall Buuhan stating Vegetto wasn't trying. Furthermore if you take Goku x Vegeta literally you kind of have to accept that base Vegetto is a great deal stronger than Buuhan.

In he anime, they seemed evenly matched, even after Vegetto threw back the gigantic sphere. I'd say Buuhan was actually the one holding back, because he seemed as confident as ever when base Vegetto showed his true power.

Hmm... I like them. Like you said, a lot of the underlying logic/trends are similar to my own. I think maybe some of the gaps between characters in the Cell arc could be wider to better represent the pure pwnage displayed at times, but that's really something inconsistent and up to the individual. I'm gonna have to revisit that in light of the whopping bunch of old Super Saiyan-related stuff Herms has just translated, myself. Seems you made up for it with the Majin Boo arc, though. You've got Ultimate Gohan even higher than I do.

Also, I like what you've done with Gotenks. I'm considering tweaking things to give him more of an edge over Goku, and odds are he'd end up exactly where you have him.

I think I might put Grade III Cell above FPSS Goku. That might be what Korin was commenting on about Cell still being stronger - no-one but Trunks would have known that it was a result of him using Grade III.

* The Kaioken technique is a ki amplifying state created by North Kaio-sama. Goku is the only known user as not even Kaio-sama himself could master it. The Kaioken increases battle power by the figure Goku chooses and the standard Kaioken increases battle power 2 fold. As the series and Goku progresses, Goku learns to put out even higher grades and the lower grades become near stress-less on his body to a point where he can fight in a 10 fold Kaioken for long periods of time. Once Goku acquires the Super Saiyan transformation though, Kaioken becomes irrelavent and the Super Saiyan transformation increases battle power far more than even the maximum Kaioken he could ever manage which was 20 fold. Super Saiyan also put far less stress on his body so Kaioken was abandoned. When Goku dies a second time and travels to the Other World and trains with Kaio-sama once agaain, he learns the ultimate "Super Kaioken" which increases his battle power 100 fold which is even higher than his Super Saiyan transformation. However, Kaioken once again becomes irrelavent as Goku acquires the Super Saiyan 2 transformation.

* The Blazing Shoot is a ki amplifying state of the West Kaio, Paikūhan's trainer. Extremely similar to the North Kaio's Kaioken, it increases Paikūhan's maximum battle power a whopping _ fold. And as Pikkon's max battle power during his match with Goku had around the same battle power as Goku in Super Saiyan, means the Blazing Shoot would indeed be even more powerful in ki output than a theoretical Super Saiyan 2 state of Goku. Paikūhan is only shown to display this technique one time, during his visit to Hell against 'Super' Perfect Cell.

* The Super Saiyan 2nd grade is beyond Super Saiyan, though a relatively effective fighting form, it suffers heavy ki drain and is also somewhat stressful on the user's body. It also suffers very slight speed loss though would be almost unnoticeable unless it was compared to another Super Saiyan forms at equal/rivaling ki output, where it would indeed likely slightly lag behind.

* The Super Saiyan 3rd grade is also beyond Super Saiyan. It takes what the Super Saiyan 2nd Grade state does, and pushes the increases in ki and energy consompution to absurd levels which cause the muscles to totally bulge which results in a drastic loss in speed and also stamina. It is essentially a failed attempt to go far beyond Super Saiyan, the correct transformation is the Super Saiyan 2 transformation which can handle the ki increases the Super Saiyan 3rd grade transformation has without any drawbacks.



Ki amplifying energy blast techniques

Ki amplifying techniques are energy blasts where a user amplifies his own ki into a point, then bursts it out towards his target in an offensive attack. Generally they require charge time which can be a draw back in battle...some more-so than others.

1st form Cell has the Saiyan arc Kamehameha amplifier (2.22x), as the blood sample of Goku that was to be incorporated in his DNA code was taken during the Saiyan arc. However, his techniques are suggested to be improved when he becomes Perfect (3.5x). And after his botched self destruct, Cell reabsorbed Goku's cells, where he not only learned Goku's Shunkan Idō technique, but also instantly learned the Kamehameha Goku has mastered to that point which has a superior (4x) amplifier.

Well heres my interpretation on some power levels and mind you this is based off the recent translation that Cell actually had the power to destroy the Solar System. Now being that Gohan was weakened and still had enough power left to rival and eventually over power Cell's Solar Kamehameha I have SSJ2 kid Gohan at 100% health at least twice as strong as SPC. In the Boo arc Goku makes a statement that Dabura is around Cell's level which is now considered nothing and being that Vegeta didn't really argue with him on that we can wager that he was referring to Super Perfect Cell. I'm going to assume Goku and Vegeta are only going to need SSJ1 in order to kill Dabura, which means in the Boo arc they will only need SSJ1 to defeat SPC.

I'm using "Solar Systems" to gauge their power because I believe with no restriction on power or blast radius the Saiyans post end of the Cell arc to the End of the series are capable of creating a blast thats ridiculously big also not to mention when I put an "s" at the end of Solar Systems it could mean either A. more than one Solar System or B. destroying the Solar System more than once. For example I have SSJ2 kid Gohan at being able to destroy two Solar Systems or being able to destroy their/our Solar System more than once.
