It totally sucks that Gohan is being totally shafted yet again. All we ever get are Gokuu and Vegeta's faces being plastered all over the place in all the merchandising. But hey, maybe Gohan won't totally be humilated in this film, right? right? right?

I'm much more intrigued by the fact that the figure is wearing his Buu arc outfit, but we still haven't seen a hint of that in anything shown for this movie...

Well, in the early poster of BOG, Kuririn has his usual Boo arc hairstyle and no dots on his forehead. Perhaps that's just from another point in the story of the movie, or maybe the makers somewhat changed their mind.

For Kuririn, I have no doubt that they changed their minds on the design, but I dunno about that being the reason for Vegeta's swapped outfit. You'd think they'd have caught that before they started finalizing the figures.

Also, as of Jump Festa, Pilaf's tie-in toy was still green-skin/blue jacket, whereas movie-trailer Pilaf is the correct blue-skin/green jacket.
Though now that I know what actually happens to Pilaf (at least, know that he gets turned into a kid in this) I'd more easily chock his figure's color scheme off to an accident (someone read green where it said blue and vise versa).

With Vegeta...I still don't know what to think. His tie-in figure is still one of my biggest unanswered questions about the movie (and one of the earliest spoilers that really grabbed my initial interest in the film) so even if you chock up the outfit being an accident...I could still come up with half a dozen theories about why he looks so cheerfully ooc, but I have nothing to actually back it up. I hope whatever the reason behind it, that it's a fun reason at least. :3

I do know that theory has been brought up earlier in the thread by other members. I'm still not completely swayed one way or the other as to if I think it could be a reaction to finding out she's pregnant. At first I thought that face/pose was too ooc, but later I thought it was possible but then started to wonder if I weren't mixing up my ic and ooc Vegetas (because I've done a lot of fanart/stories in the past) so now I'm just kinda "Maybe?" on it.

If there is anything I want spoilered for me before this movie is out, it's why tie-in figure Vegeta is making that pose/face. *_*

There's talk about this being released in US theatres which got me wondering, is DB still popular enough in the US for it to be successful? It's picked up a few a few knew fans from Nicktoons but it's not like it's on the same level as back in the day and the fans from back of the day who would see this movie for a nostalgia trip would probably be expecting it to be like the old Funimation dub complete with Bruce Faulconer music.

Look on the bright side, they're promoting Krillin so maybe he will do something cool in the movie. Perhaps even the other human characters will have their moment.
