Phew, I think that's the first I'd heard completely dispelling that rumor. I'm glad to know that wasn't it, because...really? Blonde hair, green eyes, super strength - that's a Super Saiyan. I can't imagine why it'd be any different for a female than it would be for a male.

It just make me wonder what Toriyama really said if it was just a fandom rumor. If Female saiyan's can't go Super Saiyan I might as well drop Super Saiyan 4 Pan and Bulla.

Well, female Super "Saiyans" do finally make an appearance in DBO, but we don't know for 100% sure that Toriyama specifically designed them, do we? It's very likely, at least, since as far as I know, character design is usually one of his biggest ways of participating in these games.

Actually if you read about dragon ball online it states that Toriyama have been making the character designs himself,. Dragon ball online is the online dbz game Toriyama actually affiliated with..

I somehow think that both male and female SS (and likely base form) hairstyles were designed by AT. We've seen how different (and often not so much) the SS hairstyles could be in the original series, so I don't think the character designers would be brave enough to invent something like that themselves, or without consulting with AT first, at least. Designing armor and other things is quite different, if you ask me.

Yes actually toriyama has been working on the characters design for dragon ball online for five years,. So he did in fact design the ssj females

Hehe thats possible, but he stated himself, that he was working on the characters design 5 years before 2008, so its obvious that he design the characters. If you look time petrol trunks he look just like he do from the manga except with different clothes. Specifically trunks hair..

Technically it doesn't say that he work on "some of the designs".. it just says that he work on the character designs 5 years before the game came out. Knowing 5 yrs prior to the games debut that they was going to have female players and fans who wanted female fighters, I know for a fact that the female super saiyan was one of his designs.

If I said, "I worked on broken computers at work today," that doesn't necessarily mean I worked on all of the broken computers at my workplace. It's a vague statement. There's not enough information for me to think of that as a fact, personally.
