Vegito?
Re: Vegito?
I don't think anything would have happened. Vegetto's got no halo, so he must not count as dead.

Re: Vegito?
Good question.
It's not really explored - but I don't ever recall Vegeta being told he had 24 hours. Both he and Goku were given special dispensation to return to Earth but for two very different reasons. Vegeta was never given any time limit, and I believe that his agreement with King Yemma was that if he was able to defeat Buu he would be allowed to keep his body.

Like Vegetto is going to defuse just because Ema wants Vegeta back. Ema would be to afraid to even attempt such a suicidal move.
Re: Vegito?
Where was it ever said that Vegeta had only 24 hours?

Re: Vegito?
I'm with Kaboom, I don't think anything would have happened. Vegito was a completely new being that was just 'born' essentially, therefore he was alive. Now if they'd both been dead like they were in movie 12, then I don't know if the potara fusion would have made a new living being or not, or if it would have been a dead Vegito.

I think it's because Goku and Vegeta's souls or spirits are merged just as their physical bodies as well to create a newborn individual.

Vegetto was alive, so no.
Doesn't every dead person have 24 hours on the Living World? Gohan (grandpa) and Goku had 24 hours.Nazi Cola wrote:Where was it ever said that Vegeta had only 24 hours?
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Re: Vegito?
I was under the impression that was kind of reserved for heroes or something, but maybe that was a dub thing. Either way, Vegeta coming back definitely seemed like a special case. I got the feeling that he was allowed back in the living world for as long as it took for him to beat Boo. Or, you know, die again. Whatever happens first.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Doesn't every dead person have 24 hours on the Living World? I think those 24 hours are the limitations that Enma sets for those that just go to Earth for their own personal time, and not a hard-wired time period that has no exceptions to it. Vegeta was a special case for multiple reasons (granted a body since he was otherwise a disembodied spirit, allowed to go to Earth despite having not earned it, etc), so I don't think Enma would enforce that 24 hour rule.DBZGTKOSDH wrote:Vegetto was alive, so no.

Yeah, might as well give him the full-treatment, if you know what I'm saying. There's no turning back if you are on rule-breaking spree.Darkprince410 wrote:I think those 24 hours are the limitations that Enma sets for those that just go to Earth for their own personal time, and not a hard-wired time period that has no exceptions to it. I've always wondered this myself. There's a possibility that Goku gave up half his lifeforce without knowing he fused, or when Bejito was birthed, so was an exponential lifeforce that would be the multiplication of Bejita's living life force and Goku's along with the rival boost. And when they split, so did the newly found lifeforce, and that is why Bejita is alive, because he benefited from the life force of the new being.
Bejita, ceased to exist, there was only Bejito. So in a sense, you can say Bejito recreated Bejita, or gave him a new birth.

To be perfectly honest, I couldn't care less about the fans a re-issue might alienate because if all they're concerned about is being able to scalp the people who were either unaware of the Dragon Boxes or couldn't afford them at the time, they're just leeches and deserve to have their greed backfire on them.
Re: Vegito?
When Vegeta crushes his earring inside Buu, Goku says that if he doesn't refuse with him, he'll have to return to the afterlife. Vegeta retorts that he'd prefer that to being fused with Goku forever. I guess this tells us two things: that Vegetto is unaffected by Vegeta's status, and that Vegeta's time outside the afterlife isn't limitless.
