Glad to see you enjoyed the ride of breaking down this Project's legitimacy from a legal standpoint. It's been the most interesting DB-related story I've seen and I am definitely grateful that Kanzenshuu did not cover/promote it in any fashion as I think they are smart enough to realize there's definitely something fishy going on behind the scenes. I'm going to compile an enormous amount of research and references from my own personal connections to try and have an educational conversation with K&K. Meanwhile, if they do go after the Freeza Saga next, then hopefully the initial IndieGoGo members who donated will have some sense to realize that the only thing worse than one illegal trainwreck is two illegal trainwrecks.

Listen, the minute I saw the trailer, I knew this was going to hell.
That time your teacher asked you to draw Cell in biology class.

I look forward to it. It's a shame that IndieGogo is being used for stuff like this, and Dragon Ball Absalon. (http://www.indiegogo.com/Absalon)

Sad, Absalon has next to no cash, and they're great!

I hate Absalon and what they're doing is just as illegal, if not more so! People who donate to it is just unbelievably ignorant. I lol'd when I saw "need new computer." Get a real job you Absalon twat and stop using the DB license illegally. If it is non-profit why does it take 10 000 Euros for all of this? If it is a parody, without the use of a proper license, they should not be doing this at all!
My favourite art style (and animation) outside Toriyama who worked on Dragon Ball: Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, Masaki Satō, Minoru Maeda, Takeo Ide, Hisashi Eguchi, Katsumi Aoshima, Tomekichi Takeuchi, Masahiro Shimanuki, Kazuya Hisada

Now Absalon is doing this? Looks like K&K's own Indiegogo "project" has opened the flood gates for people to illegally use franchises to raise money. I hope DB Runnaways stay privately funded.

Why'd you have to ruin my morning?

So I guess this is really happening. Maybe they will be stopped the second time around. I wouldn't mind if it was fan made and they made it from out of pocket for their love of the show, but not asking for money and questionably may or may not be using it all. Even if they do they are boosting their name and how active they can be from the DBZ name. Which I am not too happy about. It would be like if I made a bunch of DBZ fan flash animations and then put a jumpstarter up so I could buy a better computer. Who would do that?.... Oh wait

Absalon absolutely cratered. The crew behind it should've talked down Evolution or something. Guaranteed money.

People are abusing these sites. Absalon has no right to do it, even if they failed.
