Looks like we're about to see the full Hirudegarn after all. Also, something about Raichi's line to Tapion about keeping it together made me laugh.

It sounds so snarky.

Perfect.
Yeah, this is some... odd dialogue, to say the least.

Thank you, i couldn`t stand her, i know i keep repeat myself, but, i really would like to see more plot in these specials, instead of just one fight, Kaioshin universe was step in right direction

I dunno... I thought the Kaioshin one was as boring as the Cell and Bojack ones. The art was neat, and I liked a few of the panels, but it's literally just "We went here. We killed that guy. Then we went here, and killed that guy."

James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Is that...Hanassia? I thought she...I dunno, died? Hildegarn's tail slashed right into her.

Oh...I don't really know who that is but know it makes sense. I thought that was Hanassia and was like "but isn't she dead?".

I really don't wanna just complain or anything, but...we pretty much know where this special is going now I think (really thinking it's going to end up having to be Tapion that gets all of Hirudegarn sealed inside of him), so I'm getting worried that this special is going to end abruptly with what we knew already rather than giving us anything else to chew on yet.
If nothing else though, I'm really, really enjoying this artist's work at least, and I'm still crossing my fingers that they'll be our new main artist. It'd be a shame for this to be their only contribution, all things considered.

It's starting to drag on really bad. It feels like so much "nothing" happening.

Well, it is based on Dragon Ball.
But yeah, I realize they've slowed down the release schedule, but it seems like they're just dragging this special on and on...

I feel they're dragging it for the sake of making time for themselves. Hopefully this will end soon and we'll get back to the main manga.

If one read the whole chapter in one run, rather than waiting days only to get another page of fight/whatever, it wouldn't look as dragged out. IMHO DBM should be released in chapters rather than pages.

Yeah. These two special chapters aren't longer than three normal weekly chapters from Jump.
