...Huh. Come to think of it, I don't think it did fly in the movie, at least not until it transformed. And then it was more like regular flying with it's wings rather than bukujutsu. Now I'm trying to remember if it could naturally fly in Tenkaichi 3 or not...

Oh, wait. That game only gave us the second form anyway. So that still just leaves us with this.

Either way, I don't think Raditz is gonna be able to stay cocky for long heh.

Raditz's eyes seem a bit odd... too small or too close maybe...

I'd say too round.

The artist who's doing this special does a lot of faraway shots. In the rare closeups that she does there are always a few oddities like that.

That's unfortunate, but this artist is still the best candidate to replace Gogeta.

...Or maybe I'm wrong and Raditz can stay cocky. Not sure if this is really the end though.

Am I the only one who thinks she draws the male characters' thights a bit too round, too feminine?
I think Gogeta Jr. usually didn't make them so round (neither did Toriyama in the original).

Radditz does his squats.

Hmm...I'm not really sure how I feel about the gag in the 4th panel. It's funny...kinda...sorta...but feels really, really out of place here.

Yeah, it really does, especially after Raditz is shown to be such an obedient son.

"It will get out again. And stronger each time." What is it with Salagir et. al. and their obsession with enemies getting stronger exponentially? I mean, they did it with Broly, now Hildegarn becomes stronger each time?
I just hope that it is either a mistranslation or a misinterpretation (as in they meant to say that Hildegarn becomes harder to contain each time he gets loose).

That's kinda what I took it to mean too. Each time Hirudegarn starts to break loose, he gains more leverage, and more of his overall power leaks out - something like that. I'm hoping that's how it was meant rather than him having Broly powers though.

You guys are talking about the art here being too round. While I think the art is fine but it strays off from the DB art style. Above is a rounded Piccolo but I think it looks way better than Piccolo in late Z. Raditz looks sometimes, in this fanmanga, like he came from bleach or something.
My favourite art style (and animation) outside Toriyama who worked on Dragon Ball: Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, Masaki Satō, Minoru Maeda, Takeo Ide, Hisashi Eguchi, Katsumi Aoshima, Tomekichi Takeuchi, Masahiro Shimanuki, Kazuya Hisada

I wonder who will win between that Vegeta from the 13th and Cell.

I don't even remember anything from the tournament... It's been so long.

13th universe? What is that, the Super Saiyan universe?

I'm putting my money on Cell, though. Whichever Vegeta it may be. (Except the main one, and that's iffy.)

I agree. Calm, cool, and collected Raichi was nice but now this special is wearing thin on me.
