What's your Favourite Scene?
I guess this is kinda self-explanatory.
My favourite scene is the Instantaneous Kamehameha from the Cell Games. Everything about that scene was so damned immaculate.

Re: What's your Favourite Scene?
My favorite scene(s) is probably when Vegeta or Goku gave their lives. When Goku transported himself against cell, that still makes me feel bad
and seeing images like this doesn't help the sadness

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

My favourite scenes are, I guess, whenever Vegeta died, it's just because he would say everything he fealt, some of the only times he seemed completely sincere.
Re: What's your Favourite Scene?
That scene in episode 64 of Z(Japanese) where Freeza contemplates his immotality with a random soldier. That line about fireworks is just so chilling.
Infact, the entire episode is pure gold.

Bardock's Final stand. One armed Gohan vs 17 & 18 is second.

Gohan's SSJ2 transformation in the Cell Games, of course. One of my favorite moments in all of anime.

That's a fantastic scene as well. The score in particular was great.

James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
Re: What's your Favourite Scene?
I would say Goku turning SS1 on Namek but I've seen it so many times and everyone seems to say that scene so for the sake of being different I'll say The Spirit Bomb scenes were Goku finishes Kid Buu.
Re: What's your Favourite Scene?
Any scene with Goten up to the mighty mask part. Just because it would be epic to be him, and his attitude is perfect.
Re: What's your Favourite Scene?
Oh I have several. Here some:
- Kakarotto SSJ3 transformation.
- When Cell is introduced to Piccoro. For me, Cell is the most bad ass caracter.
- Kamisama training with virtual saiyans before the arrival of Nappa and Vegeta.
- The beginning of the fight between Kakarotto SSJ3 vs Super Janemba.
- Kakarotto in false Super Saiyan form vs Slug.
- Gohan Ozaru transformation in The Tree of Might movie.
- Goten throws stones at Gohan.
- Trunks transformation USSJ1 and USSJ2 ( dai ni dankai and dai san dankai ).
- Vegeta and Goku gave their lives ( Boo saga and Cell saga ).
And there is even more je je!!
Cheers

Re: What's your Favourite Scene?
Actually, one of my favourite scenes comes from Dragonball movie 3 (I just recently watched it again, and it is a damn good Dragonball film). Two scenes actually:
-Tao vs Goku and Arale -the animation is probably the best in the whole franchise in this one scene; bar none. It is just great. Funny and action packed. I love it.
-Ten's moment where he had an ultimatum to kill Chiaotzu; damn, that actually made me really sad for some reason. I never felt that way about anything in any movie... but this did for some reason. Aslo, well animated!

My favourite art style (and animation) outside Toriyama who worked on Dragon Ball: Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, Masaki Satō, Minoru Maeda, Takeo Ide, Hisashi Eguchi, Katsumi Aoshima, Tomekichi Takeuchi, Masahiro Shimanuki, Kazuya Hisada

Re: What's your Favourite Scene?
So many to choose from but it's either Vegetas death on Namek, Goku turning Super Saiyan for the first time or Gokus sacrafice against Cell.
Those would be my top three moments. I really can't choose between them though.

Re: What's your Favourite Scene?
I have many too.
-Goku and Vegeta standing on a cliff during their first battle. It just speaks volumes of what was to come for those two.
-Then, when Goku rips the remaining of his shirts and prepares to kick ass with Kaikoken.
-Goku arrives with Frieza and Vegeta gets killed.
-All the scene leading up to Goku turns SSj. Everyone is so cheery and laughing because they actually did it and then... *BLEARHGH!*
-SSJ Trunks walking out of the crater with Frieza's deathball on his hand.
-Trunks slicing Frieza.
-Trunks turns SSJ for the first time.
-Goku about to blast Supreme Kai out of the way so he could fight Majin Vegeta. The surprise in EVERYONE's faces was just priceless.
-Goku making the Genki-dama against Kid Buu.
