Stephan Chow, he made Kung Fu Hustle and I can't think of a film which is like Dragonball then that movie. It's mix of serious over the top almost cartoony martial arts with a funny yet serious plot.
I can't belive that some peolple actually suggested Michael Bay, one of the worst directors alive, sure he could probably turn Dragonball into a big budget movie with lots of special effects, but I doubt that he would be able to capture the true essence of dragonball.
To me Kung Fu Hustle is what the perfect Dragonball movie would be and Stephen Chow is the only director who can capture the true essence of dragonball.
Who do you want to direct a DB movie reboot?

Very good point, in a weird way i would kinda want to see what Shusuke Kaneko would do for the Dragon ball story. I'm a Huge Kaiju fan(Godzilla Gamera, etc) So I bet he could do something cool with the giant monkeySSJ YUSUKE wrote:Stephan Chow, he made Kung Fu Hustle and I can't think of a film which is like Dragonball then that movie.
