Infinite World...hard to find?

Post by DBZ Mick » Thu Feb 07, 2013 7:21 am

I finally found a copy of this game in Australia after searching for it since it was released (didn't have regular internet access before). I heard in PAL areas the game is harder to find or is really expensive? What about Australia? I don't think it ever got an official release here?

Does anyone know the history?

Speaking of the game-The copy I got was brand new and $29.95 so I'm pretty happy with that.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

Not really, a few months ago Namco Bandai made new copies of DBZ Infinite World (according to MusiclandLtdGreece I asked them via private message on Play.com). I posted the quote of their message, it's on a topic I created similar to this one.

http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStation2/ ... oduct.html - £8.88 (Free Shipping)

I paid £9 and something, but no big difference than the current price. Thankfully the game is available at a very reasonable price for everyone.

Haven't yet bothered to unseal and play it on my PS2 because of Xbox 360 games.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Here in the US, the game went out of print a few years ago. Atari lost the rights to the franchise after 2008.

In Australia when the game was announced I pre-ordered it never came in stock, so two years ago I bought a copy from Melbourne which was imported from Europe.
But it's one of my favorite DB games so it was worth it. I think I paid about $30.

Yeah, I remember it was meant to come out late 2008 I believe or mid October 2009 here in Australia, but it never did. I kept looking forward and by chance I looked in GameTraders' retro database on Wednesday and found a copy (also found a copy of MGS Twin Snakes which is pretty rare here too but for a ridiculous price).

Really enjoying it thus far, can easily say it's my favourite Budokai game.

Hopefully Gaikai will have it up for steaming on the PS4 one day. That's probably wishful thinking though, but it's on Amazon now going for $16 for a used copy.

The game has Yamamoto's music and it's the least anyone would think of to play it on a next gen-console, besides very unlikely the game would be made available to play it streamed.
