I assume that the Super Saiyan God form will be temporary for Goku, since they keep mentioning this being before GT, and Goku didn't use Super Saiyan God, obviously.

They could be ignoring GT since GT is not apart of Akira Toriyama's story and I doubt Toriyama cares about GT. I just find out this info today and I have mixed feelings about it. I personally think we have enough SSJ forms already.

GT came out 17 years ago. I personally doubt he remembers any of it. At least he remembers most of his characters and stories that he wrote.

I'm not sure if that's supposed to be the new form...or just a silhouette of Goku's original SS form. It looks very similar, if not identical to the iconic Freeza Arc art of him.
