Well Ultimate Gohan is on the Majin Buu part of the flyer so I guess they didn't forget about him, hopefully they will give us an explanation, but it will probably just be lack of training or something.

Guess I'll have to go to eBay to try and buy that flyer soon.

What I'm kind of surprised about though is that I don't recognize any of the promotional art for this new ad for movies 5, 6, 12, and 13. Does anyone else recognize them?

I'm almost positive that promo art for movie 12 was featured in the film's theatrical trailer (and maybe even the film's art book as well, though I didn't see it when I flipped through it just now), but I've never seen those pieces for movies 05, 06, or 13.

I honestly think they don't care if he's "Ultimate" or not. They'd still have him go SSJ for the sake of "Hey all the other characters are doing it."

This golden SSJ4 thing is reall annoying. The Super Saiyan God form will at most resemble the original SSJ, I bet. Hell, it may even just look like SSJ2 with lightning sparks around it or whatever. I'unno, I'm not expecting anything new outta Toriyama. May even resemble something out of the latest Dragon Quest games.

If you think about it Akira Toriyama knows Super Saiyan 4 exists because he drew Super Saiyan 4 Goku for the Dragon Box GT. Who knows what the Super Saiyan God would look like designed by Akira Toriyama himself.

Super Saiyan 4 is my favorite of the transformations, but rehashing it with a new golden color pallet and calling it Super Saiyan God would be fairly lame and extremely lazy. What little excitement I had for a new transformation after all this time would go right out the window.

This movie doesn't run on GT's continuity. Ssj god in the manga could be ssj4.

What I think he's getting at is that simply recoloring something is a really half-assed way to design "new" things.

It'd be like if I took Piccolo's design, recolored him red or something, and named him "Flute", and used him as a separate character.

Hey, Hey, Hey!! thats not true!..... at least not anymore lol. The Ninjas and robots have had their own unique looks since MK4/Gold. Now a days if you recolored Scorpion blue he would still look like himself, Sub Zero has a completely different design.
