Interesting to note that Goku doesn't seem to have any battle damage in the supposed Super Saiyan God transformation sequence.

Oh my goooood, more new trailer~! I was squeeing so hard, my husband had to come check to see what all the fuss was about

I love that we keep getting more hints at Birusu's and Uisu's personalities in the trailers. Uisu eating a cake (we previously saw him eating sushi, so definitely turning out to be a "gourmet" as described a while back), and Birusu spanking Gotenks! That's awesome. It's great that they're not just like, "grah, we're the villains, we're evil and we're gonna do evil stuff." As a lifelong fan of villains, I like my villains to have a bit more substance, and these two are definitely delivering on that front!

Loved the panning shot with everyone (except Vegeta...oh, and Chaozu :P) Man, this movie looks fucking gorgeous. I am ULTIMATE excited. It's sucks that I'm leaving for vacation in a couple days and won't be able to keep up on movie news for a couple weeks. (I know, I know...first world problems :P) I may love this site and all the info it provides, but I ain't paying $8 a minute to access the site from a cruise ship.

That's Birusu, there... unless you mean the blob of indeterminate nothingless in the bottom right corner...?

Lol, geez. People are salivating over Super Saiyan God ay?
I'm in the camp that thinks its a nice progression and something different from the usual Saiyan levels.
I did jokingly tweet a few weeks back that we might see a "Shin Super Saiyan 4" which...this could pretty much be.
Trailer wise, glad to see pretty much the entire Z-Warrior crew in the battle. Oh, Super Saiyan 3 Vegeta? I'd like to see that personally..

Krillin and Yamcha don't fight, and where is Yajirobe?! (and Korin) Yajirobe had some action in Heya!

Because most of the fandom hates GT and the show was a failure with poor ratings back in 1997. It's like if you put Highlander 2 in the official Highlander timeline or you have Star Trek V as apart of the official canon of the franchise.

GT had good rating, not as high as DBZ, but still good.

Just watched the new trailer and all I can say is - YEEESSSSS! It looks great, and even though we still don't really know much more than we did before, just getting to see some more of it in motion as we come this close to the release...gah, I can barely contain myself anymore!

Just stop. Please. No matter what angle you look at it from or how many times you pause it, you won't see Super Saiyan God. They don't want to expose it. Just wait for the next issue of Jump or something to come out, and maybe we'll have something. For now, just stop. He's not there. It's all in your head.

I'd like something more similar to this, rather than a SSJ4 with golden hair:

No, the show had poor ratings. Its even mention in the newbie guide on the front site. If the show had better ratings then Toei would have made more shows after 1997. I'm pretty sure the merchandise didn't sell great neither since you hardly see any GT toys made from Bandai.

"Lower-than-expected" doesn't mean low.

Dragon Ball GT ratings. Compare them with the Dragon Ball Z ratings. They really weren't all that much lower. Now, for the nth time, this has nothing to do with Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and Super Saiyan God is not in this new trailer.

No, its ratings got pretty low. It was consistently doing somewhere around half of what DBZ had been doing.

EDIT: Funny how what you consider not much lower is what I consider much lower.

14.6% is a good score for TV programs.

Maybe today it is, but Kai was considered to be doing "just OK" and that was lucky to hit 12% when Goku went Super Saiyan in Episode 47.

DBZ was regularly hitting 20%.

Regardless of whether you think the ratings are low, GT became the shortest series and they stopped producing any sequels because people didn't like it. They know that fact.
