Even if the movie was two hours long, I doubt we will get a whole hour of nothing but fighting. I think a movie with nothing but fighting for a whole hour gets boring fast. I remember the last act of Transformers 3 was nothing but fighting and I was getting bored very quick. I remember checking my phone waiting for the movie to be done and over with it. I don't want that to happen with a DBZ movie.

If anything, if you compare the storylines, Highlander 2 is more like DBZ than DBGT.

Well I only compare the two since they are both to be hated by their own fan base.

Also! Weekly Jump 14's cover, TOC, and next-issue-preview pages all mention BOG; though I have to admit I'm still cautious about it since most of Weekly's movie-related stuff so far has just been about promotional, non-spoilery merchandise while it's VJump that's had all the juicy plot stuff. Still, we are actually closing in on the release date so maybe there will be something of plot-interest inside.

So far in every movie, fighting was too short I would actually enjoy a super long extended fight scene. Plus if Vegeta, Piccolo, Goten/Trunks, or even Krillin is going to take part in the fighting, why not? And have some sort of build up before Goku's God Transformation.. make it super EPIC before the even bigger EPIC part! Bring it!!

I don't think anyone is going to do any subs for the movie if it's likely going license soon. Fan subs groups don't sub things if they are license.

I just emailed EVENT Cinemas to see if they can show Battle of Gods in New Zealand for their Cinema Asia section.

I'll post their answer if I get one from them soon.

BTW, they're showing Journey to the West: Conquering the Demons, so I might check that film out sometime.

DBZ at the Embassy Theatre in Wellington sounds like a treat (I believe it's a part of the whole EVENT Cinemas chain).

Even if they don't bring it over, there's still a chance that Madman may bring it over as part of their Reel Anime screenings.

According to the scriptwriter, Gohan doesn't transform to SSJ in the actual movie. It seems that they colored Gohan's hair differently only for promotional stuff.
