Hello everyone!
I was digging through some old stuff and happened to run across this old fan sub of ''Fusion Reborn'' that I forgot that I had.
I remember there was this guy at a video store that loved Dragonball and he knew I was fan as well and he hooked me up with this.
It was originally on VHS but later he did something and put it on a disc for me.

But! the question I have for you fine folks is ''Why haven't I seen this intro on any other release besides this?'' the intro plays after the trailer for the movie(33 secs).
If this gets removed, it's probably because of the stupid Youtube copyright stuff

and this isn't the full movie as that would be against the rules of this site.

Enjoy the HD quality

If you guys want I can re-record that intro part because it's laggy

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

Oh wow, that's pretty cool. Did any of the other movies have something like this?

Haha! Yes! I remember this TOEI intro from the movie, as I downloaded it from the net zillions of years before, at times that I was kid and I think this is the legendary funsub with ''Instrument of your defeat'' thing.
Maybe it's intro used on VHS releases?
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel

Trust me, I'm millenial and a designer.

Indeed it is friend. I uploaded the video for you and anyone else that may wonder what you were referring too.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hcGtjzqAbCQ But I'm just curious why they haven't bothered releasing the intro that plays in the beginning. in my opinion it suits the movie well.

I remember watching this on a old bootleg copy that I own like 10 or 9 years ago. Brings back good memories

This self-same intro is on my fansub of that movie as well. I need to get around to buying this on DVD at some point, as all I have are the fansub, and the edited for TV version taped off of Cartoon Network.

The
introduction you're referring was used across most if not all of the original Japanese VHS and LaserDisc releases for the movies. The
clip you've uploaded almost proves the fansubbers used 'Movie 12''s laserdisc since it's got the trailer playing beforehand.
Funnily enough, I've always loved it. It's one of the reasons why I want to buy those releases and being a completist doesn't help!

Thanks for the info! and I agree if you're anything like me, you want it all!

I just happen to find this and remember that Intro. it definitely should be included to DVD sometime or another.

It was my pleasure samuraix123. I only hope another user will shed more light on how long these introductions were used amongst Toei releases in general regardless of it's absolutely marginal relation to the Dragon Ball theatrical releases let alone the franchise as a whole.

This intro is also on the japanese DVD release of One Piece movies 1-4, but movies 5-7 (and up, only have first seven) had an updated intro, so it must have ran to at least 2003/2004.
