Alright... alright...
Bardock. How the peruvian fruit flakes do you get him? I mean, several sites just say go to where Raditz's ship was. I go to the one that I can find, and nothing.
And the skins. You can only get those when you beat Dragon World, and they cannot be used in tournaments... right? I know that you get a few when you practice.
And I assume most of the other characters (Supreme Kai, Videl, Uub, etc.) are generally characters you earn after playing it a second time... right?

Okay, this is a thread intended for discussion of the Greatest Hits release of Budokai 3, if you wanna ask about unlocking, I suggest starting up a new thread for that. Especially considering the questions you're asking seem to pertain to the original version. But nonetheless, I suppose I can try answering these with a half-baked smile.Ninja Poe Bear wrote:Alright... alright...

First off, you've had to play through Goku's DU all the way once. Then play it again and in the Saiyan saga, go to Raditz's ship over by East City, you WILL get the Bardock capsule. Concerning skins, except for the Greatest Hits/Special Edition skins, you don't have to unlock any alternates. When you unlock a character, you automatically get all of his or her appearances as optional choices in Dueling, Practice, and Dragon Arena modes. No, skins can't be used in "World Tournament" mode. Also, why the hell are you mistaking Dragon Universe for Budokai 2's Dragon World?
No offense, but it's not that hard to understand some very simple instructions from a place like GameFaqs.com. Like I already said, bringing questions of this nature that more pertain to the original release than just the GH release simply doesn't belong in this topic. That's what clicking "New Topic" is for.

Sorry... had to ask. Mostly because since it's based on the game. Plus, I thought I had seen people asking questions as well.Conan the SSJ wrote:Okay, this is a thread intended for discussion of the Greatest Hits release of Budokai 3, if you wanna ask about unlocking, I suggest starting up a new thread for that. That's what I thought. Thanks for confirming all of that. As for Budokai 2, never liked the game. I tried it a few times, and could never get past their "board game" feel. That, and I stuck with this one because of the fact it is the best DBZ game out there.
Actually, I went by another site. Before I came here, mind you. And with a few things you confirmed were true, made me come with a conclusion...Conan the SSJ wrote:No offense, but it's not that hard to understand some very simple instructions from a place like GameFaqs.com. You are the one and only Great SaiyaConan.
But anyway, playing the game, I have been spotting errors in names and typographical errors. Have you spot them too?

Hey everyone! Is there anyone out there that bought a copy of the correct version of the "Greatest Hits" disc only to not have your old data from the regular Budokai load? If that's the case, is there some option availiable or did you simply play it though again? Perhaps there is some trick to getting around this loading problem which I'm not aware of, maybe? I'm not very PS2 savy (the one I use isn't mine) is why I ask. I really don't want to go through the whole game all over again. Thanks so much.
