Possible Fan-Dedicated Section on Main Site
I was just wondering, what would you guys think about a section on the website dedicated to fan-work? Of course the material would have to be approved of first before going up, but I think it would be a great way for forum members to kind of "give back" to Kanzenshuu and contribute their own content. This could be like reviews, collection photos, fan-art, DBZ Abridged, etc.
But then again, I guess that's what the forum's for...I dunno. What are your thoughts?

You are here since 2010, made over 1200 posts, and you still missed that?!

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Haha, I'm talking about a page on the actual website; not the forum.

Oh, I see. I sounded so weird, because everything you asked for is right there.DragonBoxZTheMovies wrote:Haha, I'm talking about a page on the actual website; not the forum.

Re: Possible Fan-Dedicated Section on Main Site
There's no reason to put on the main site which is mostly objective information besides the reviews and feature here or there. I think the Fan Works section is enough for now unless there's a giant response towards the staff.
The fan works bleeding into the DB Wikia is one of its big problems, right? Why would you want to implement stuff like that?

If you're not here soon... GET ON!

I agree AgitoZ. As much as it would in someways be cool if Kanzenshuu covered fan stuff (I guess), it would be too informal and be way to subjective. What fan stuff should make it to the homepage? Is TFS stuff worthy but Joe Shmoe's Fan Fic with dating Bulma not? With official stuff it's way less vague and consistent. I'd say only really big fan related things that actually effect the franchise should make it.
But hey, the staff could do some fan stuff on the weekly podcast!

I think having a fan art section would be a waste of time.

There is so much official information to cover I think having the website dedicate its time and space to fan projects would be silly.
