So is this game about Broly or something? He screws everyone over in the Opening and that's basically it XD.

EDIT: I've received my Collectors Edition of Dragon Ball Heroes! All these addons are really awesome, and the cards i got are pretty nice too!

Why should we celebrate that the worst looking Dragon Ball game in years is selling well? The amount of effort put into this release is near 0.
"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

Merchandise selling is important for the franchise as a whole even if it isn't great.

i'm not too sure about that. Again, this is telling the game developers that they don't need to put that much effort into the games, in fact, the less effort, the more sales. So this may backlash for us and we will have games with lesser quality than the ones we normally have, which already are sub-par.

I know the Opening has made its way to the internet, but what about the other supposed thirty minutes of animation?

I suppose people haven't got to that yet. We'll have wait and see.

Wait, this was going to have 30 minutes of new animation too?! How did I miss that one?
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

It's the first I'm hearing about it too but I hoped there would be some animation shorts.

I knew you would be the one to post that. I have this game and it is indeed awesome. Oh and, "in years"? Let me name you three worse games than this released recently: Ultimate Tenkaichi (Censored everything from RB2, only point are the Boss Battles which aren't so great either), Kinect (Even more censored UT that's already a censored version of RB2), HD Collection (Just another lazy port, with unfitting music to the games.)

This is more original than the three, and i always dreamed to play DB Heroes. Unfortunately i couldn't go to Japan, so Ultimate Mission is the excellent choice.

Haters gonna hate.

He said "worst looking", which I'd argue is correct. Ultimate Butōden looks better than Ultimate Mission.

Maybe it does. But i don't care about graphic when the gameplay is fun. Besides, you're comparing First 3DS game (Out of a lot more to come) to Last DS Game (Showing true potential of Nintendo DS). And besides, Super Saiyan Prime is usually the one who complains about everything 3DS Related. It's like he can't afford one.

The second thing, don't rate the game's quality because of pictures on the internet. If you'd saw it in real life, you wouldn't even look at it like that.

You seem like you're just going to argue back every point made, so I'm not sure why anyone would bother conversing back with you :(.

I've read a ton of what Super Saiyan Prime has to say about these games, and it's clear that he wants the best for the franchise in video game form, and truly wants to love the games. Just because someone's being critical of something doesn't mean they somehow don't like it, are the BIASED against an entire platform, and so on and so forth. Please don't personify an inanimate merchandising product from a large company as if it's your own (dragon) soul if someone expresses a sentiment you don't agree with.

Too bad his complaints on here will get him nowhere. It's better to be proud that a NEW Dragon Ball game has been released (That people outside of Japan never had a chance to play), than having nothing or lazy console ports. Unless you really want to have Dragon Ball Ultimate Kinect Move WiiU Mote Tenkaichi v 5.2.0.

So, it seems that there is no response to the point that you compared a first 3DS game to a last DS Game?

How is this not a lazy console port? And how does it give us a fair chance at playing an otherwise Japan only video game when it was only released in Japan?

So what if his "complaints" get him nowhere? Nothing you're saying will "get" you "anywhere", either. I don't really see your point. It's not like loving Ultimate Mission will get you a job or suddenly bring you a million dollars.

This is a community. People have conversations with each other. Everyone's entitled to express those opinions. Super Saiyan Prime is, and so are you. It's fine if you don't agree with each other, but I'm not going to tolerate you condemning an entire viewpoint and inferring that they bring nothing to the table and shouldn't even bother, and then lay (back-handed) insults on top of that.

I'm sorry that someone else doesn't like the same game you do, but that's too bad.

(EDIT: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Did you SERIOUSLY just try to call me out on not responding to a point you made? Faster than anyone could even think to construct a response and then go and post it? You realize this is a message board, and not a face-to-face conversation, right?)

Because you can order a Japanese 3DS, and not this game's arcade machine (...). And it's not lazy, because it went almost as far as current DB Heroes, including Bills.

It will make me more happier by owning something i enjoy than hating on something i never even experienced.

See, there is a difference.

Oh well, if you guys enjoy talking about nothing, then this section is going to die. This is the best DB game in a long while, and the fact it sold successful leads to even more interesting titles.

On this, i end my discussion.

How is it fair that, in order to enjoy this game, I have to import a Japanese system, import the game and then get Japanese classes?
And you normally can import arcade machines. Do you know for a fact that you cannot buy and import this one specifically?

How is it not lazy that the game is a port of an arcade game with shittier graphics, which were already last generation?

There's nothing wrong with criticizing a product you don't like and don't agree with. If we were only allowed to talk about things that we overwhelmingly enjoyed, and were forbidden to talk about things that we thought could use improvement or were flat-out bad... well, that would get REAL boring REAL fast.

I really didn't like FUNimation's orange bricks. I really didn't like Ultimate Tenkaichi. I talked about both of them. I got really great conversations out of both of those topics from people who DID like them and from people who DIDN'T like them. If I wasn't allowed to talk about them because I thought they were garbage, well, that would have truly sucked.

Again, I'm sorry someone on the Internet didn't like the same game you liked. Too bad. If you're not interested in having a conversation (which you're clearly not), why are you here? You're not going to have your own opinions completely regurgitated back at you. There are too many hundreds (thousands!) of people here, and they're all just as able and willing to share their opinions as you are. I want to hear what it is you like about Ultimate Mission, but you're more talking about it from this abstract-personified-perspective than about the game itself.
