My own Kai version of the Buu arc

Before Mayumi Tanaka revealed the Buu arc of Kai, I started making a Kai episode of the battle between Videl and Spopovich for fun, but gave it up halfway after knowing the actual Buu arc is coming. Then recently I thought it would be interesting if I make my own version first and compare it with the official one when it comes out, so I have finally completed editing the episode. It still doesn't have any sound effects or voices, though.

Pretty solid! I don't think the actual Kai version of this scene will differ too much from your interpretation but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I guess the official one is going to be very different except for the pacing because I drastically edited the fight instead of merely cutting it.

I see what you mean now since I did a second viewing. The fight definitely seems shorter (a lot less crowd reactions from what I remember). Did you cut more of the first part the fight (where Videl is winning?). It seems much shorter than what I remember from this fight in the original anime. Granted I haven't seen the original fight in a while, so I could be wrong.

Also, while we're on a similar subject, how long was this fight in the manga? I don't own the volume it was in but I'm guessing this is close in recreating it more faithfully?

The editing was pretty well done and will probably be close to the official one. If they were still using Kikuchi the soundtrack would've probably been similar. But even as you said, there's brand new music being done for Kai Buu! This clip has me exicited for the Kai Buu arc!

Movie 13's score is one of my favorites. As for its quality, some of the pieces are included on the three CD set (BGM collcetion), and the last one in my video is an unreleased one (M2111).

I don't think that they will use the choir BoG themes in Kai since those tracks have to do with Gods and have a deeper meaning .

Why did you use the American dub ? But hey, that music for the ssj3 scene was epic.
