djfungshing's Dragonball Z Resin Statues

Post by Beji » Sat Oct 29, 2011 2:52 pm

Hello! I am bringing this thread up because I was a bit worried about a seller who has a lot of pictures up for their resins named djfungshing. I saw pictures of some resins on a site I cannot find anymore and also see he has a site on ebay(with nothing on it) and Ioffer. I got his email from the site I saw his gallery of pictures b/c it was a pm to buy them and I ended up buying 5 resin statues from him. They finally got here for one to be off-color from the picture and the other one was the wrong statue(I got a Gohan instead of Goku). I had to end up opening a claim on paypal and then he responded and said there was no need to have it open so I closed it. After that he stopped responding. Its only been an hour though. Does anyone know if hes a good seller? People(my friends and the person on paypal) said i was tricked and that he isn't going to respond anymore but I think hes just asleep b/c of the time in Hong Kong. He seemed like a nice person has anyone else bought from him?

You NEVER close a claim until it's resolved. I did that before thinking I could trust a seller, WRONG. I then had to jump through hoops for the next 3 months with my credit card company before finally getting my 100$ back. Bull in my opinion. Never close a claim, that's a big mistake. Because you realize they have no obligation to do anything for you right? With a claim, they HAVE to. But without one, they can do basically jack all and you can't do anything about it except bring the case to your credit card company. And even then, mine made me wait a month before even beginning to take an interest in my case. DO NOT CLOSE YOUR CLAIM, I can't stress that enough. Does not effing matter how trustworthy you think the seller is or how good their feedback is or how nice they are or whatever. Once you open a claim do not close it until the situation is resolved to your satisfaction. I would be genuinely surprised if you got a response or set of responses that led to this situation being rectified.

Got a mixed response. TheLegendary117 says hes great but Raithos you do have a point T.T I hope hes good enough to resolve the problem even without an obligation people can be nice to each other I hope >< at least I got Gohan instead of Goku it could have been 1,000,000 times worse. A different series of figure, a scantily clad figure or a really crappy looking figure. Luckily(?) it was a Gohan instead of Goku.

It's just I've had a similar case like this happen to me and I was so aggravated through out the entire process after the seller played nice and then screwed me, don't let it happen to you!

p.s. I do like that Gohan Resin though, very nice. One of the only unofficial pieces I'd consider

Well I think i've been duped. Since he isn't responding it is unfortunate that he doesnt give two f#$%s once paypal cant do anything about his mistake. I don't want to have to go to the bank because any chance of a partial refund would be lost and I LOVE 3 of these especially. I am just going to cut my losses and be happy that I got Gohan instead of Goku even if he never appeared like that in the show he is in many pictures like that(like the side of the complete dbz manga collection box) I dont think I am ever going to buy from him again. He had such cool stuff too. Hopefully hes asleep or something the Legendary's good experiences with him gives me hope. I can now instead be happy about the resins I have and witht he right lighting they are all perfect

Dude probably had a lot of shit to do. Hong Kong is a constantly busy place so I know what it's like. Give him some time.

I tried posting about this in a new thread asking for help but someone keeps deleting my posts without reason or warning. I'm just seeking advice on the quality of different resins and the fact that the recent ones I've seen being sold look different than (the) pictures listed above.

I'm deleting your posts because (1) if no-one's responding it means no-one has anything to say and bumping your old posts isn't going to help that, and (2) you still refuse to type correctly.

Not sure why you started editing my posts all of a sudden when you stopped editing them months ago after our little "talk".

You're the admin, it's your site. However, I'm not sure you ever put anything in the rules about bumping. On most sites my understanding is that a topic can be bumped after more then one week of posting and I don't refuse to do anything. You refuse to instill any sort of compassion.

They DID eventually sort everything out and in a MONTH I will make a post on resins and such. But I need to be home/have a camera, etc. So just stay tuned I guess. I apologize.

Last time he messaged me about them he was waiting for the last one to be shipped. he said , When I asked him if he could help recently, he suggested to posting a new thread. He hasn't complained about not receiving them, so I'd say it is safe to assume he did. I do vaguely remember him sending me a pm though, about how excited he was to finally receive them. Though I'm pretty sure I deleted that pm, so I can't recall exactly what he said. I'm sort of new to figures. Well I have never brought any proper DBZ ones, just the old official ones that came out in 2004, or something. Air brushed, I think they were. EB[?] Games used to sell them. Any who, I'm just here to ask what other unofficial figures do you guys know of that might be worth getting? what are some vendors I can trust? What sort of pricing can I expect, too? How much is too much to pay for that sort of thing? But mainly I just want advice on figures with a quote-unquote, high level of articulation. One thing about the pictures above is the colors are off, but maybe that's just the contrast. I would just appreciate some help in my quest. Thank you.

Edit: Beji beat me to it.
