Infinite world gameplay question

How do you counter the game's "aura burst mode"?
I'm not sure on the name but it's when a character get's a big aura while his KI's constantly drains. They seem unbeatable and dodging/evading only leads to getting fatigued.

Run, basically. Just dash the hell away from them, then rush in to beat them up once their ki runs out. It's a pain in the ass, but it's the only real way to counter infinite teleports.

Thanks for your advice. It helped me a lot. I really like the game but I really wish they'd remove this feature.

No worries, and I feel the same about them. Really kills the mood to go from fighting to avoiding a glowing blue guy. :P

I've played the hell outta this game and..... you can't do nothing? Only avoid the contact to minimum, that's what I do.

Just dodge them until they run out. This is the only thing that annoyed me about IW. No human player would use it though.
It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

Superman in an orange Gi was the bastard son of FUNimation. Its not The real character, it is as false as Chatku.

I did used that in fights, at least, being in this mode kinda helped to counter that partially. But to run away is better strategy.

If my Ki is at the opponents level or above, I just go into the same mode and out-dodge the cpu. Pretty simple. Avoiding gets boring.

That may end up wasting a lot of ki, but the back-to-back teleporting does look really cool.

Just make sure that the cpu exhausts its stamina first, then land an ultimate when it does. Also, I find that the ONE THING that the cpu in this doesn't do that it did in Budokai 3 was always make perfect teleport-dodges. Of course I did most of my playing on just normal mode.

Won't they sidestep then?

Not if they do a full on stamina depletion which leaves you completely open for about 2 solid seconds.
