That looks like ASSJ Vegeta to me. He even has the veins on his forehead. But I doubt this form will actually appear in the film. As said above they probably just used stock art.

Who knows? It would be fun to see him use the form again.

I agree that Vegeta looks a bit like a SSG2 there, but obviously it's intended to only be SS1. They've abandoned SS Grades years ago.

So the artist goofed up a bit then? Just look at the picture, man. That is SSj "grade 2" Vegeta.. for certain. No one is saying about the screencap from Battle of Gods "that isn't Oozaru Goku.. Oozaru Goku has much thicker arms, those arms are drawn way too thin!"

Different artist, different style, different skill with proportions etc.

It's very clearly a different artist's interpretation of the exact same scene. That is supremely obvious simply by looking at it. So his muscles look a tad dinky compared to what they should be, but as you can see by this comparison, they're still about the same proportion! As for the lines in the hair... you are quite literally splitting hairs at this point. Who, but Toriyama can perfectly draw Super Saiyan hair? Face it, that is what the picture represents. Simply say you aren't satisfied with how the artist conveyed it, and then move on. I won't really be replying further after this post, as I've been warned on this site before about my conduct in "back and forth" arguments.. but I'm fully confident that I've made my case. If you still deny that it's grade 2 Vegeta, it's just some stubborn refusal to admit you're wrong or being nit-picky to the absolute extreme, but that's him...

That's SS Vegeta, just based off SSG2 Vegeta. Again, they've abandoned SS Grades years ago, there's no way they'd use that in BOG.

I forgot to mention that the movie is going be released in 2013 according to the rumor. But again, I highly doubt that it happens. If it really does, I'll eat my pants, wander around my city wearing Goku's dougi, and draw a doujinshi featuring DB girls.

Now, you'll be not only the first one to know about Kai's new score, but also the first one to know about the whole movie!! Looks like destiny has you in charge of reconnaissance in unknown Dragon Ball fields, scouting around ahead of us all to know what's coming for us!
But at least, let's hope there's no non-disclosure agreement or something, and that you can freely share info once you've seen it!

There still is a possibility of being kicked out of the theater because of the ticket that was given by somebody else, though. Anyway, I'm sure to tell you the details as early as possible!

That would require them to have the names written on the ticket and ask for an ID, or something like that, wouldn't it? It would be pretty drastic security measures, I'm sure as long as you have a ticket, they won't care how you got it.
It's no extra fake ticket, so the number of attendees will be exactly what they expect it to be, I don't see why they would bother because there was a replacement, it's still one of the seats given, regardless of who it was ultimately given to.

As far as I'm concerned, I stick with the theory that both names are variations of the word "Virus", which fits the concept of something/someone meant to spread destruction once unleashed.
"Birusu" would be the "japanisation" of the word "Virus".
"Uisu" would be from "Uirusu" (another possible Japanese spelling of "Virus" according to one of the expert members here if I remember well), minus the middle syllable "ru".

That's what I believe until further confirmation, therefore applying that logic to the western-style variations I use: Birus (close to "virus" except for one letter, with a pronunciation that's very close to the word) and Vis (suppressing the part covered by the suppressed "ru" in Japanese, if "Uirusu" is "Virus", then the actual name "Uisu" might be "Vis").
But until official confirmation - and even afterwards, as is the case for most names -, people are free to choose the variation they like, as long as it remains understandable! (not like the retains-nothing-from-the-original French names for Super Butoden 2 which change "Zangya" for "Aki", "Bojack" for "Kujila", "Broly" for "Tara" and so on!!!)

And for an official explanation, we just have to wait and see, we'll probably end up with an explanation in some guide sooner or later.

Julian and I went over this earlier in the thread, but "bells and whistles" doesn't really work for the duo's name pun; it seems semi-plausible in English, but the kana spellings aren't very close, even for pun purposes.

Seems like a real stretch. "Bell" in Japanese is ベル/beru rather than ビル/biru. And yeah, a pun doesn't have to be the same as its source, but ビ/bi for ベ/be doesn't seem like a particularly natural substitution in Japanese. You could just as well claim the character's name is a pun on "bull" and that they swapped in ビ/bi for ブ/bu.

I also don't think too many Japanese people would be familiar with the expression "bells and whistles". Of course, maybe they were trying to go for something obscure, but combined with "Birusu" not being very close to "bell" I think this isn't a very likely source for the name.

And also, "whistle" is ホイッスル/hoissuru in Japanese (which nearly always preserves the "wh-" sound that's fallen out of use among most English-speakers), making things even less likely.

We'll see that. Only time will tell who's right or not.

For now, based on the name and execution of his special attack in Dragon Ball Heroes (and on his design, as well), we know that Whis (ウイス) is related to music.
And we have "Bills" as the first latin spelling of the God of Destruction's name on an official product.

I know it's Wikipedia (and not even cited), so it's not much to go on, but after Hiroko Emori's** exclusion from the cast list, I've been starving for any kind of new voice actor information.

Since Utsumi voiced Shen Long for Dragon Ball Kai I'm not surprised he would return for Battle of Gods. Although I do have to wonder why Utsumi left the role in the role place. His involvement with the franchise has always been a little skittish. I'm surprised he even agreed to return for Dragon Ball Kai considering he lost ReaCoom.
