DBZ on OnDemand
... actually, its been on OnDemand for a while, but I didn't realize that they actually updated them until now. They have three or four episodes at a time under the Action category of Cartoon Network and they're at the "final" fight between Frieza and Goku. So for those who've hooked up they're DVRs or whatnot to their cable box, this would be the time to use them! And what I especially like is that there isn't any commercials. However, I'm pretty sure that they're just the edited dubbed versions, and not the uncut ones, since I don't think Comcast has the balls to do that.

Basically Nekoni it's a service some cable companies offer. Various channels, Cartoon Network in this case, have a channel with a menu of some of their shows. You basically chose a an ep from a show on the menu you want to watch. It's a lot like Pay Per View.
Jerseymilk: "Can I tell you something?"
B-kun: "What?"
Jerseymilk: "I see Fangirls."

Except in most cases, the episodes are free. Normally, the only things on OnDemand you would pay for are things like movies. In my area, the shows are free, but check if you have to pay just in caseJerseymilk wrote:Basically Nekoni it's a service some cable companies offer. I watched it the other night and I think it had commercials. Does that device take out commercials?

In the one that I saw, there were only commercials before the actual show and in the middle during those little "video spots," but the latter one was only a three second thing that shows the Cartoon Network OnDemand logo. Maybe your cable is different?Big Momma wrote:I watched it the other night and I think it had commercials. Does that device take out commercials?

That's what is was like for me, they only had like a 10, 15 second ad that advertised like an upcoming movie or t.v. premiere. But the rest is commerical free as everything else on, ONDemand.DaemonCorps wrote:In the one that I saw, there were only commercials before the actual show and in the middle during those little "video spots," but the latter one was only a three second thing that shows the Cartoon Network OnDemand logo.
