I can't let myself read his posts about it
So I never had any shock for anything that happened in the series (except for Bardock's Special).

But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
Don't care what anybody says, I think Videl looks lovely. (Will save and draw awful things later.)Chuquita wrote:I think someone linked the site these are from a few days back?:
I don't recall seeing this Videl character art before.

Yes, I agree. For me it's mostly the hair... it has to grow on meGaffer Tape wrote:I don't know if it's my favorite Videl look, but I definitely love the outfit. Of course, that's probably because I'm a frequent practitioner of the skirt/dress over leggings look myself.
Seems appropriate. Considering I won't be able to see the film myself for a while, I think my excitement level is probably as high as it is going to get.Chuquita wrote:(16 hours left, you guys. O_O )
I'm torn between whether I should hate you for that post, or love you because you're going to be our first source of the meaty spoilers on the film...decisions, decisions.kei17 wrote:I'm going to buy an advance ticket for a sneak peek on March 20, too. I'm seeing the movie twice before the release!

I admit, I wasn't a big fan of her look at first, but now that we've gotten more high-quality artwork of the design, it's growing on me. She looks particularly nice in the art at the top of this page.Scarz wrote:Don't care what anybody says, I think Videl looks lovely. (Will save and draw awful things later.)
Augh, I want all of the things! The fluffy kintoun bread, pafu pafu marshmallows, and I'm very curious about what the Super God Water tastes like. Also, the bento is a "fusion" bento and features Gokuu and Vegeta on the label. Not that I believe that means to hint that they will fuse in the movie, but you can read into it what you willChuquita wrote: Tie in snack-food stuffs: http://dbcp.jp/products/lawson.html
